  1. As stated its a safety. Also where the saying "Dont go off half cocked" comes from.
  2. i got 20 yesterday....they are in excellent condition. Not dented or rusted. Good seals and original stencil markings....some are a bit dusty...and $10 each...its a very good deal. Its out of a guys house.
  3. So when are we having the lautenberg memorial shoot? ..maybe more of a celebratory thing than a memorial I guess...but still
  4. picked up 20 of them today....guy still has a lot left. ..and they are $10 each....not $15....Group buy anyone?
  5. I went today...Ammo prices are still stupid...didnt see any bargains. Lots of AKs and ARs, Garands, etc...all still inflated.
  6. When you apply for a pistol permit, there is already a 7 day waiting period...of course it takes a lot longer than 7 days to get the permit, so you probably didnt even know it was there....but it already is.
  7. They are currently sold out, but expect more soon. I asked about the cash pick-up price and it came to just over $90 per can. Was thinking of picking up some when its back in. If someone else needs some, I can get more I guess...
  8. I get this all the time at my shop (not a gun shop), where people have a million questions and just want all of your time. You really have to just tell them after a while that you have some other work to take care of, or you have to close or whatever. If not, some people just wont go. Its not being rude on your part, although I think its rude on their part. And you can do it in a very nice friendly way that wont insult them. Thats all part of retai..
  9. The pick up price comes out to about $90 a can....let me know if you want to go in for some.
  10. Nick...Let me know...there is also a deal going on at Ammoman for 5 crates of this stuff...Maybe take a ride down there? Might be cheaper plus no shipping.
  11. They also make sword versions of this umbrella.
  12. No event for tripod mounted beltfed browning 1919a4 or water cooled 1917a1? BAR?
  13. In NJ it would be...maybe so in California too...but in many states, such as PA, you can legally build yourself a gun just like that. You cant do it as a business or for the intent of resale, but making your own receiver and rebuildinga semi auto from a parts kit is perfectly legal, and there is no serial number or registration.
  14. Does range 14 still have that old dude that comes by and steals your brass unless you yell at him? I havent been there in a while, but he just used to wander around with a rake and pick up brass unless you stopped him.
  15. Ive had situations where a cashier has give me too much change back. I always tell them and give it back to them. At the end of the shift, when they total the cash in the drawer, the cashier is usually responsible for any loss.
  16. to make this all that more complicated...you can bring a long gun or shotgun..and sell it to another NJ resident and just fill out the COE. No FFL involved.
  17. also, some places wont send a can opener unless you buy 2 cans....they can be opened other ways, but the opener is nice and handy to have.
  18. Early 1940's Smith & Wesson M&P....later renamed the model 10.
  19. And if a full auto gun is out of ammo...it still makes a series of clicks.....as if FA guns have some other way of resetting the trigger rather than the recoil/spring...
  20. Early 1940's Smith & Wesson M&P...later changed to model 10..
  21. Holy shit is that expensive. they can be had on gunbroker and over on 1919a4.com for less than that. They used to be the least expensive beltfed out there. I remember when kits were $300 and you could build one for about $700....
  22. I remember a seller at the PA Armory gun show with 440 tins of 7.62x54r for $15 each...and not having a 54r gun at the time...I didnt buy any....this was maybe 5 years ago...
  23. They dont say where the officer was shot...maybe it turned him from male to female?
