I'm off oct 23 rd and nov 6. Working oct 30. If we are definately doing the 30th I can try to find coverage and burn 12 hours of vacation. But I don't want to burn vacation time on a maybe. Let us know.

The idpa recently released it's 3 gun rules. The shoot doesn't have to be idpa per sey, but that would give tosser a rule book, divisions and scoring ideas. There are others as well, I'm most familiar with idpa. I'd be conflicted, do I bring out the recently assembled AR that I haven't even shot yet, or do I bring out the big mama M1917 Enfield???

Tosser, I'm definately in as long as I'm off. I enjoy the 3 gun shoots. Shane, it's south of SJSC by about 20-30 minutes. Tosser, JoelK and I drove 3 hours to Topton PA for a 3 gun shoot a few months ago, it was worh th trip. Sometimes you just have to suck up the drive if you want to participate.

It's a persons constitutional right to hang balls from their truck, just like it's their right to own firearms. I don't post for the sake of posting. Of someone asks a question and someone else answered it the same way I would have then I don't write anything. At one time I had the money to grab things that look good, now with a wife, kid, mortgage, car payments etc... I save up for a new gun and do research and hope to not get burned.

Matching numbers if you can find them. Aircraft sights are cool and rare. Ammo, if you can find it.

I'd go 40 myself. I like 40 better as a defence round and I already have 2 guns in 40, I'd rather not open up another caliber.

no crazy laws yet, at least statewide. Gloucester Township, Camden County has outlawed discharge of Airsoft, Paintball and BB guns (I have been told - perhaps someone knows for sure). You can order them online. I have an AR airsoft that I used for practice when I used to compete in high power rifle competitions. It was good for position, transition and added to the dry fire drills. Squirrels jump quite high when struck. It's also good to practice clearing the house with, lol.
