  1. you can carry easily in CT, including getting a non-resident permit
  2. all of my permits are non resident, and they were all issued relatively quickly and without hassle. both NH and CT were around 2 weeks. AZ took longer since theyve been getting a large amount of permits the past year. VA was also easy and within 2-3 weeks.
  3. he hasnt signed on since nov 19, so all the 'advice' is falling on deaf ears
  4. hes referring to getting an out of state PA permit
  5. i dont think PA gives non-resident permits. doesnt matter either way, since they honor almost every other state permit
  6. LOTS of pistols will jam if held incorrectly. its not a problem inherent to hi points alone

  8. this police state has no grandfathering clause, so even if you can buy a non-neutered gun (which NO ONE will sell you anyway), as soon as the pathetic law gets re-upped, its instantly 'illegal' again. same thing happened several years ago when it expired the first time. i supposed, technically, a non-police state equipped gun is now legal, but good luck trying to explain that to any cop or court
  9. i doubt lori will come back. carol is probably still alive, as you saw in the previews of next weeks episode, someone looks at a dead walker and says 'thats carols knife'
  10. no. its not. that is precisely why i have an $80 JC Higgins under my bed, and not my good 870
  11. FYI, the original thread, with spoilers and spoiler samples is here: http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/19550-the-walking-dead/
  12. theyre talking about carol, not lori. lori is obviously dead, as tonights episode confirms
  13. i highly doubt people will actually turn around and walk away. its more of a statement of his beliefs then him actually finding out who you voted for and then showing you the door
  14. inox/stainless slides are all marked with stainless at the muzzle end, and 3 dots on the underside of the slide, on the left when looking at it upside down
  15. someone saying 'i dont think shes dead' and 'it hasnt followed the books' isnt a spoiler. either shes alive or dead.....josh didnt give anything away other then his own opinion. get off his back
  16. its not longer at all. it may be slightly heavier due to just the rail
  17. you can have loaded mags sitting right next to the gun itself and per letter of the law its legal
  18. dont bother. if all you want is a plinker that will see occasional use, just buy a bushmaster, or stag. there is a 99.999999999% chance you will NEVER use it at or even near its limits. either brand will more then likely never jam, and if it does, youll only be sitting at a bench at the range anyway....so 1 in 1000 rounds it may jam, so you get experience clearing a malfunction. big deal. unless you flat out plan to beat the shyt out of the gun to purposely find out its limits, there is NO reason to spend twice the price on something that will never be used to its full potential. thats the same thing as buying a veyron just to have the fastest car in the world, and only use it for commuting to work and grocery runs. my first AR was a stock bushmaster, only shot at the rang (as you plan to do).. never jammed, no malfunctions. i then added a stag flat top upper, and did some classes and training, running silver bear almost exclusively. ZERO jams, no malfunctions. i then added a used, pieced together DD/BCM combo upper on mostly an impulse buy. still on the same, original bushmaster lower. i did not NEED to upgrade from my stag upper, since i never, ever had a problem with it. no jams, no malfunctions, no problems with it not being a free float handguard, nothing. i just found a decent deal and bought it. despite what some people think, there is absolutely no reason to take what the chest-beating rollmark snobs say as gospel. the only advantage youll have of buying a fancy manufacturer over a bush or stag, is you may sleep better with a shyteating grin on your face and have a lighter wallet, while the gun sits unused 360 days of the year.
