im book marking the page....im probably going to pick one up. for which gun not sure but for 2-300 its worth the gamble compared to 1300+ for an actual bullpup gun as listed below. i bought a bull pup kit before for my camp 9 rifle but that was plastic and poor design but was a blast to shoot untill it broke lol (plastic ) will revisit this in a week or so putting in my phone calender -

LOOKS awesome i cant get my girl to shoot anything other then 22. i would bring the target in imho. its easier to learn to shoot up close 7 yards and then when all shots in a nice group slowly walk it out. again only my opinion not right or wrong. -
thank you for all `the birthday wishes didnt want you guys to think i was blowing them off, but ive been out of the country for the past 2 weeks on a Mediterranean cruise for my birthday and my old lady's b-day is the 12th.

What's so special about Aimpoints and such?
civictuner04 replied to Radek's topic in Optics & Accessories
i had the same mind set as you redek and on more than one occasion i took the gamble and bought the knock off aimpiont and eotech. aimpoint was ok but battery life sucks i shot with it on the gsg times and now battery is dead. the eotech was a good clone as far as looks go. when your turn it on different story. when you turn it on there is one bright ring with dot then like a clover there were 3or 4 different rings surrounding it. i put it on my saiga and took it to the rang to my delight turn it on set to highest setting and you cant see anything what so ever put my hand over the front and the dot is there just could never use in winter wtf is the good of it??? as far as scopes go i bought all barska long range scope if you dont look through anyother scope you will kinda be ok. you will move your head all around tring to get a good sight picture but never get a super clear picture. i reccently put a millett scope on my remington 700 .308 and even though price wise a 250-500 price range, its much much better. i then switched to my ar with barska scope and ask liberty or death, i shot 15 rounds and took apart my ar cased it and said F this time for new scopes. -
i would like to be under $500 each one. im not a sniper so its mostly punch paper or fruit....maybe hunting if i ever leave state to hunt. i know military uses 10x scope for shooting people and i under stand that for shooting a person sized target but if im trying to get tight groups aiming and a smaller target/crosshair target to me more magnification makes alot of sense (again to me). i would like to eventually learn to shoot long range 600+ yards with targets at different distances so bdc would probably be good to have or mil dot but more or less looking for opinions. the millett that i have now is a buck gold i believe and i dont like it its a 6-16 and regular crosshairs. i looked at this guys nikon today, was very clear but didnt like the bubble bullet drop bubbles just not for me.

ok well i decided today that barska scopes are p.o.s. up until now i thought it was great value with decent product until i put a millett 4-16 scope on my remington 308. i tried to shoot my 20" rra ar today after shooting the r-700 and i could barely see through the barska not nearly as clear or picture as the millett. well before i order 4 millett scopes for all my guns i dont wanna buy into something that isnt really that good. im looking at buying 3 or 4 scopes and would like to stick with one brand so i can get used to one manufacture and how the operate. what do you guys think? i dont have the coin to buy 4 leupold mark 4 so.....think i wanna get like a 6-25 for my remington 700 in 308, put my current 4-16 on my rra upper 223 20", 1-4(or something close) on the m1a loaded, and a 4-16 on my psl.and my brother is looking for a scope for his r-700 in 270. looking for opinions and reviews thanks guys. (in the research ive done every scope has people that love it and people that hate it so looking to hear from you guys) thanks again

pistol ammo Carbines whats good for cheap
civictuner04 replied to nkung's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
i have the camp 9, kel-tec sub2000 and storm 9mm all are fun the storm is by far the best. you can tell the differnce in the quality of the firearm, the sub2000 is very accurate but a little awkward(weird) to shoot, the camp 9 is fun havent shot it in a long time. i didnt like the hipoint at all. -
one can only hope lol....with my luck the next 3 weeks while im in europe, everyone will be selling some cool sh*t for super cheap
-
o i know that but you know somebody gets their hands on something they have zero clue the cost or value and someone gets a good deal
-
either way but if i could come up with the $ im just buying it.....i want either a 50 or 338lm. i actually almost ordered one of the single shot 50bmg uppers for the ar but by the time i build a dedicated lower for it, i could just buy a cheaper 50 bmg single shot bolt action rifle.
-
the gsg isnt bad to do a minor cleaning barrel bolt area never broke down completely but heard its a pain in the a$$. i would buy the gsg again for sure. for the 15-22 if you dont have an ar just buy a lower build it for you and buy a 22 upper for it this way down the road you could get a 223 upper and really have fun then

Health Warning Shooting Lead
civictuner04 replied to Maksim's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
i was going to post something about this like a month ago. i had to take a lead paint training class for work. i asked the instructor about reloading making bullets and shooting them he told me that melt lead to form bullets is very dangerous as the lead starts to vaporize at melting temperature and that is when it is gets introduced into your blood stream. lead in your body goes to your brain and can make you mentally handicap. i will spend the extra $$$ and reload with fmj. i didnt wanna rain on everyone parade. -

its not identical to anything on the list to be identical to a ar-15 piston means its the same gun but the kel tec is not the same only thing that is the same is the fact that it uses the ar mags. the bushmaster is an ar pistol thats why the count factor comes into play
-
yea one model of the bushy carbon pistol is compliant and g2g. kel-tec plr-16 are also ok because is not substainly identical
