  1. Chris - as you know I've had a similar issue about loading beyond mag length but for different reasons. So now I single load for precision rounds. Which again poses a new set of problems loosing sight picture when dropping the bolt on the left hand side. That's why I went with an ambi bolt release. This may be off topic but related. Personally, I like SMKs
  2. And better bullet technology for the 9mm
  3. Don't go with a progressive No no no "O" type press like a Rockchucker etc. they sell kits. You'll need leverage for resizing. You have two relatively easy cartridges to work with. Read. Go slow and understand what you are doing and why. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Just wondering...How does that 22 Nosler shoot? What twist and weight bullet are you pushing?
  5. Easy. In big corporations focus groups are created to effect cost savings. I have seen groups receive cost savings awards for picking up empty ChapStik containers off the floor and putting them back on the conveyor belt. That being said...Simply cost over QC
  6. Didn't read your links but YES, I say Yes I can see this happening. To be technical the gun was locked in battery, the primer detonated (yes the detonate not burn) driving the whole cartridge down the barrel and jamming the mouth of the cartridge past the headspace shoulder into the little freebore that 9mm pistols have. My mistake you said it drove the cartridge down the barrel I read incorrectly the bullet. My bad you're right. That is a reasonable senario
  7. See in addition to concealed carry it is legal in SC with or without a permit to have a loaded firearm in your glove box or console. Over head would be great because you wouldn't sweep yourself deploying in either direction, It would have to be covered though to protect from theft and to eliminate brandishing.
  8. Anybody know of a roof / ceiling console that can be mounted in an F-150? Excellent place for a Shockwave.
  9. I've had autoclaves and other stainless steel items passivated in the pharmaceutical industry but I've never had a SS barrel passivated. From your pics those are copper deposits. You can use a chemical copper remover or a non-embedding bore cleaner like J-B Bore Cleaner. Eventually the bore will smooth out and you'll have reduced deposits.
  10. Agreed. Statistically a machine has a greater rate of failure just after reassembly. Thus, it fired last time I pulled the trigger and statistically it should fire the next time as well.
  11. Good review. My understanding is that Glock worked hard to make the Gen 4 G27 more palatable. Different recoil system I believe. I have a buddy that has G29. He finds that controllable Good luck w/ your 27 Me? I'm a sissy I carry a PM9. Right RayRay? I'm a sissy?
  12. Now you guys know I shoot a subsonic, suppressed BO For me it a 50-75yd gun. Just sayin'
  13. Hey go polish your shoes I see a scuff on them. That's nothing. The pins are coated steel. Get a SS pin kit and they all will be bright. No worries
  14. IMHO unless you are supressing it the 300AAC BO poses no advantage over the 223/5.56 For pigs a well constructed soft point / expanding bullet will do a better job on pigs. 300 BO ammo is more expensive too. Good luck, have fun !
  15. Absolutely. That's the way to go.
  16. . As soon as I find a suitable candidate I'll do my own SBS and file my own Form 1
  17. 2300 for the shotgun plus 200 for NFA SBS plus 1000 for Salvo 12 Plus 200 NFA can You can be into it for under 4k Think it takes a binary trigger?
  18. Lighten up Gerard !!! It's a file pic no one I know...LOL BTW are you ashamed of the female form?
  19. Nice...Though it's not. What if that was my wife? And anyway we have mostly tweakers down here
  20. I can't believe no one suggested this pet...
  21. Raymundo - The difference in 43/26 is the width which if carrying IWB makes all the difference in the world. Maybe I would use a +1 or 2 but agreed a +4 is porky. Had a 43 in my hand last night. Not bad and mag capacity for me is not a problem I grew up on a S&W 36.
  22. Nicky Boy - How's it going? Wow...You should have seen all the bottom feeders come out of the wood work. There's a good turn over on this site. I pulled this two years ago and got a load of suckers.
  23. Do keep an eye on the timing. Topher is sharp and recognized it right away. I don't know if I'd catch it as quick as he did,
  24. After much pondering I have decided to move to Rochester, NY Reasons being Climate, my safety and low crime rate due to progressive gun laws and the Safe Act. So my whole collection is being sold with the exception of my Joe Biden signature 12 ga double which I can use to deter and not shoot those that have been dealt the misfortune of being socially and economically deprived and have turned to crime. Please PM for more info. All prices are bargain basement before I turn them in to be destroyed in trade for a Target or McDonalds gift card.
