  1. Always happy to see you my friend, and Nick too!
  2. Yes, we did a "Zombie" match at OB several years ago. I had ammo stuffed all-over myself, wherever I could!
  3. What king of stages for the rifle? Round count? Mag swaps?
  4. These are the types of laws the NRA should be helping us to repeal. They do absolutely nothing to help with crime. These laws just stop law-abiding citizens from pursuing their hobby. Once an individual has purchased their first handgun. no more permits should be required, no waiting period at-all. Want to buy one on Monday, four on Tuesday, have at it. Just the background check, that is all. Why don't they PROVE to us that these laws have helped the crime rate. They can't. The magazine capacity limit is also useless. Why not limit us to how many magazines we can buy then? If I have 20 magazines with five rounds each, ten magazines with ten rounds each, it is still the same amount of rounds.
  5. What do we need? I sold all my AK-clones and never finished an AR. I have my awesome .40 Cal Storm, does that count as a rifle? Shotguns and handguns, no problem.
  6. My .357 Magnums are the most fun to shoot, but I can't use them at my indoor range. Perfect amount of kick and flame! I did get a .30 Cal single action Ruger that I can shoot at my indoor range, almost no kick and a HUGE flame!
  7. Easy-Joe, save your energy so you can chase some drunks down!
  8. Sorry to hear about this Bob. I'd like to see theives have their fingers cut-off in public. That would send a message.
  9. 10 oz of silver, fine. If you have the $$$ to buy 10 oz gold bars, do you wanna sponsor a race car or two buddy?
  10. Eagles are still cheaper than Krugerrands. Never understood why people would pay that small premium. They are all the same weight in gold.
  11. Have had this sitting at home for months now. Gotta do the conversion sometime, along with my many other gun projects......... Drag Racing just gets in the way.
  12. What is happening in South Jersey? Every other month something whacky down there..........
  13. I don't hunt with mine, just punch paper and whack my shoulder, love my Browning X-Bolt!
  14. Have a new rifle that needs the scope mounted and sighted-in, one day I will find some time. Have fun!
  15. I'm with you Dave. Make me a felon with the stroke of a pen. Kiss my arse too. I know many that won't bend-over for these asshats. Have some "felon" friends in NY right now because of their morons in office. Oh, CT also.............. But I won't name-names since we ALL know the antis are on EVERY gun forum there is! Watch what you say, THEY read it all and Google stores it forever!
  16. That would be perfectly fine with me, as long as it is a REAL crime. Not getting "caught" at the local gas station on your way home from the range because you needed a bathroom! Don't forget, that is also a CRIME, we can not stop ANYWHERE according to their assinine rules!
  17. Where's James? Think he waited about 6 months for permits. I know I got two sets of permits before he got his first, and my first set included a new FID card since I lost mine!
  18. Good luck with your venture. I would hope the people on the Monroe Zoning Board have enough intelligence to listen to the public that offered comments, and knew exactly where to file them as-needed.
  19. Henry going to start his own FFL? I was thinking about it, don't know if I want to deal with the BS though inthis state and with the Feds.
  20. Yeah, that is funny! I would like to see the NRA get off their collective arses and go-after the legislators in each and every state, stop trying to play defense and go on the offense. Instead of letting them reduce mag capacities from 30 to 15 to 10 to 1, work on reversing the damage already done. Make them prove that reduced mag capacities has reduced crime, etc.......
  21. Anyone has the transcript of the meeting and what statute(s) were used in the denial?
  22. If we ever get to the point that you need to use gold or silver to pay for stuff, then we, as a nation, are pretty much screwed. The people that have food are the ones that will determine how and what they will get paid. Don't plan on using gold to "pay" for stuff later, even the small $5 gold coins are worth a lot of money. Simply buy common silver if that is your plan. Any pre 1964 dimes, quarters, halves are 90%. Any Peace dollar and earlier is 90%. You can get them in what is considered "cull" condition, only worth their bullion value, no numismatic value and therefore the cheapest way to stock silver (usually there are no dates left on them, they are bent, dented, severely abused.) You can also find World War 2 nickels that contain silver, 1942 - 1945 I believe. The way to tell they are silver is that the mintmark, P, D, or S, is very large and on the back.
  23. I deal with a coin store in Bound Brook, good honest guy................... Cash and carry. He's been there forever and is a member of the ANS. No shipping charges, no taxes.
  24. How does one cheat................ Well, when you are the next shooter, go help tape the targets of the previous shooter, and carry a pen to poke holes in the targets while everyone else walking back off the range, then shoot blanks................... OK, so Alec doesn't cheat.......... He is pretty good, so is Nick. We usually have a NJGF squad that has plenty of experienced shooters on it. The MD decides who gets squaded together. Newbies will always have plenty of guidance, and will never have to shoot first. I pretend to be new, but they still make me shoot first (and I have the mad skillz of a newbie too!) Have fun, that's what it's all about!
