I lost a pin once. I've never broken one.

I knew when I was a teenager and traveled around a lot that I wasn't going to stay in NJ. The only thing I'm going to miss are the Boardwalk's. There's something special to me about the smell of the food cooking mixed with the smell of the wood boards and the ocean on a hot summer night. In the cold winter it has a special feel to it too.

I renewed in person. Last time I gave one check. Here in Lee county the women working in the office is in her 60's. She's so nice. Welcomed me in and suggested I get a Florida DL so she could issue my renewal the same day. Fingerprints, renewal, Background check forum all done in the same office in about 15 minutes. I got my new Florida CWFL in the mail two weeks later. It made me hate Jersey even more. Fly down for a day or two. Enjoy the weather and renew.

A few years ago I was going to trade my G30 Gen 4 in. I couldn't find a need for it after buying a Springfield Mod 2 .45 ACP Glad I didn't. Governor Murphy created a reason for me to keep it.

I always wanted a 1911 .45 like I saw in all the war movies.

We just got our's today for our Ocean county town. Its $24 more a quarter. I got one for the house and one for my business in town. So between the house and our business its another $200 a year. NJ has to have either the best fear mongering propaganda machine or a lot of stupid voters.

I just can't warm up to my G43. I find it snappy and just a bit too big for pocket carry. The G42 is a great fit. Very easy to shoot. I would like a few more rounds. I carry a spare mag on the other side If Sig would offer the P365 in .380 with that capacity I wouldn't think twice about buying it. I find .380 to be a great choice for pocket carry.

I pocket carry a G42. The Sig P365 is very close in size. I really like the way for its size the G42 shoots. I want to shoot a sig P365 before I buy one. Here's a video comparing the two in size.

It was a little over 80 in Florida yesterday when I left. I went out for Pizza tonight. My God its freezing out.

I just got home from Florida. We came into A.C airport. Lots of flight canceled on the board leaving Florida. We had 70 empty seats on the plane. No snow here in Pt. Pleasant just a little rain and wind.

No requirement for a Constitutional right. That's a very slippery slope. I avoid the range Friday nights, Saturday and Sundays when possible.

I have a flight back to A.C. tomorrow from Florida. I keep checking and its still a go.

I bought my first in 1982. Its a Colt AR-15 SP1. When the law in NJ was passed to register or get rid of it I sent it out of state. Not because I wanted to rollover and accept the law because I knew one day Id be leaving the state of NJ and I didn't want to put my right in jeopardy to own a firearm in another state because of a mistake. Lets face it. The Anti's have the vote in NJ. If they didn't you wouldn't see one piece of anti 2nd Amendment legislation come to the floor. I'm down here in Florida. Last night on the news a woman was late for her appointment at a hair salon. She didn't want to wait. She pulled out a gun and demanded a chair. I was curious to see the reaction of the people. Most said she should be in jail. Some said she should't be able to own a gun. Not one talked about banning guns. If that was NJ you know what would happen. Another story I found interesting was about fireworks and dog's on New Years. Some dog owners are upset about fireworks scaring their dogs. The reaction was not what I expected from the public. Many said that's too bad about your dog. The owners should do something to comfort them. One wrote I listen to my neighbors dog's bark all year. Agree 100%. My parents home in Rutherford sold in under a month to a single oriental women with no kids. The problem the state is going to have is the same problem us legal gun owner have in NJ. The're just not enough of us to really make a difference.

As this continues to happen NJ will have to get more creative in finding more ways to raise revenue which will speedup the exit for more middle class taxpayers. NJ politicians have to hope for another super storm to hit the state or some natural disaster so a very large aid package like what happen with Sandy can help our masters in Trenton. Sooner or later those phat pensions are going to collapse and the'll be very little sympathy for those collecting them.

Every morning when I out of bed I'm reminded of that. Ray is that range still there in Hoboken? I think it was on Adams St?

My wife also knew about my firearms before we got married. When we dated we went to the range together a lot. Back than there was Tuckers bar in Garfield NJ. The gun range was downstairs.

My wife is the same way. She just asked me to write down in each box what I think each one is worth so she knows if something happens to me . We really don't question what each of us spends. We're way past that point at this time

I noticed something else about 10 or less rounds that may put this Murphy law into perspective. For years I've was buying 3 guns a year in NJ. Most were 15 round mags. Now fast forward to today in Florida where I can carry. I find I like my Glock 42 best for carry with a spare mag. Its the most comfortable. I like the Glock 26, XD Mod 2 SC , or the HK VP9sk with a spare mag. They do have their time an place but I find they just don't carry as comfortable for me. Many of my friends in Florida are carrying and relying on smaller guns. The Sig P365 sales are on fire down here. I know HD and CC are two different subjects but in someways the're related. I hate the fact that NJ keeps changing the rules for us but we're going to have to play the hand that's dealt to us. Play the game as best you can until you can get out. On a side note I haven't bought anything since I've been down here. NJ and Murphy has put a bad taste in my mouth.
