  1. Am I the only one that believes this thread should not be on here?
  2. My boss emailed him the other day after the hearing and expressed his displeasure with the way the states legal gun owners were treated on Wednesdday. He provided the chairamn with his phone number along with his email address. Assemblyman Mainor actually called him yesterday appologizing for the way the hearing went and also said that his is only human and made a mistake. He went on tot= say that they have an interest in meeting with us(legal gun owners) to learn more about our concerns and more about this issue in general. He seemed quite sincere and he also said that he had been returning personallized emails to everyone who contacted him and that he was calling everyone who requested a call. My take: Our presence on Wednesday was not only noticed, but concere them about their political futures. I believe they misjudged the "call for more gun control". They were not expecting any resistance to their unfounded legislative agenda. I believe as we have been awaken to fight on this issue, that they have been awaken to the reality that we will no go quietly into the night! I also believe it is paramount that we have a minimum of twice the number of those who attended Wednesday at the next hearing!
  3. I agree 1000% Lets beat them at their own game! It's encouraging to see that they have finally awaken the sleeping giant that is us! Let's make NJ an example of the people taking THEIR government back!
  4. That shouldn't be too hard with Democrats!
  5. It is time to put Christie's feet to the fire!
  6. Just got back from a long day in Trenton and my interpretation of the hearing is they held it only because they have to. It was clearly written on their faces that they don"'t want to hear from us and that they will be pushing forward hard and fast! I hate feeling like a pessimist but the only way to turn this around is by every one of the "1 million NJ gun owners" getting involved politically. Without the unity of the whole state our voice shall fall on deaf ears. Yes we had a good turnout but it would require 10 times the number of people who attended today to even get these people to notice.
  7. In these last few weeks, I've been on somewhat of an emotional roller coaster regarding the daily anti vs. pro gun rhetoric that I am completely consumed in. When I read or see something positive, I feel really good, and when it goes the other way I feel we're being defeated. Yesterday , I was speaking to someone I regularly see who shares his affinity for firearms and who has much more and higher end arms than I can afford. He is a regular at several of the ranges in our area and surrounds himself with those who love firearms. What I am about to type is what caused me to lay awake last night for hours to try to understand. I asked him if he and his fellow firearms enthusiasts were attending on the 8th. He looked at me as if I spoke another language. I informed him of the rally and he was quite surprised to hear of it. How could this be? Is this an indication that there are so many more out there that are not aware of what's going on? I hope this is a rare instance but I fear it may not be. We need to step up our game and make sure EVERYONE is aware and attending.
  8. Don't forget the underage prostitute loving Menendez!
  9. That leaves us exactly how they want us! We the Sheeple!
  10. Let's not forget that these elected officials have been lying in wait for quite some time and now that they have the emotional pathway to push their agenda they will pull all of the stops. This winner of this fight will be determined by who has the intestinal fortitude to see it through to the very end!
  11. Progressives always try to "one up" each other which is why NJ is going for a 5 round limit.
  12. I agree that you can never change a so called "progressive" mind, however it is the unknowing American people we must convince.
  13. Great points! We need people from all walks of life i.e. women, kids, all races!
  14. Look into how much money the pharmaceutical industry pumps into Washington and I'm sure you'll easily understand why our elected officials won't go there.
  15. Just sent him this. Dear Senator Cruz, On behalf of the millions of legal American gun owners, I would like to personally thank you for your position regarding gun rights and more specifically the "Assault Weapons Ban of 2013". At this pivotal moment in our nation, we need more Congressional representatives like your to be our voice. It is quite clear that this anti-gun movement has very little to do with protecting the lives of our nation children and much more to do with political agenda. I, myself, am a father of two teenage boys and I want nothing more than to ensure their safety along with every other child. I also desire greatly to provide all children in this nation with a future that guarantees their liberties and freedom as stated in our Bill of Rights. For many years now, the American people have watched as our freedom and liberties are being slowly eroded and washed away. We are being told that these changes are good for us and our country, yet we've seen so much evidence to the contrary. I am writing this to you from the state of New Jersey where people with your character are very hard to find. The atmosphere in this state has caused me and my family, who have lived here for generations, to think long and hard about abandoning the only lives we've ever known in search of a place more suited to our values and beliefs. We are very interested in Texas actually. I believe I can speak for many of my fellow New Jersey residents that we need and appreciate your voice in this matter and on behalf of all of us, Thank You! Regards,
  16. With Lightfield Hybred Elite slugs through an 870 with the Mossberg ported slug barrel and Nikon Buckmaster scope, I've taken quite a few deer at 180-200 yards. With a little practice determining hold over, it can be done quite consistantly. Unsupported makes it much more difficult than with some type of rest.
