I've done a bit. A buddy of mine from high school has a pretty complicated setup...all grain and a conical fermenter. Unfortunately, I've just this month been diagnosed with celiac disease. So, my beloved beer has to go. Time to try my hand at brewing cider I guess!

Garden Tools Demo Gets Teacher suspended on Weapons Charge
woodentoe replied to Midwest's topic in General Discussion
Middle school had wood shop, ceramics, stained glass an printmaking. High school had electronics, computer aided design and a new robotics lab with computer aided manufacturing that no one knew how to use...even the teachers. I loved wood shop. Was one of my favorites. -
Whitehouse petition - just punishment for Tsarnaev

Last I checked this wasn't Hammurabi's law we had. I'm disturbed by the sentiment that we should cut off the leg of this man in the public square tomorrow. Screw the trial. That whole judicial process just opens itself up to potential acquittal. We can't have that. Just jump those unnecessary steps. Why, we could be JUST like Saudi or Iran. Wouldn't that be swell? Until it is you or your family they are stringing up in the town square. I will pass. It's bad enough we have court tv to act as judge jury and executioner. We are lost. -
10/22 And mini 14 are semi auto. Op specifically asked about Bolt action.

Why do people here hate the constitution? This 'fine for me but not for thee' view of due process and habeus corpus is troubling. It seems the grabbers aren't the only ones with a consistency problem. -
My Facebook has officially lit up blaming 46 senators for these killers having the ability to acquire weapons. Get ready for the blame game.

One person dead at a Lakewood Range

You mean Easton? Where someone killed themselves a few weeks ago? Rent guns and you're not immune from something like this happening. -

Along with an airtight sealing gasket providing over pressure. The whole pot becomes shrapnel on top of what's inside. -

Isn't Semtex not high grade, but rather general purpose explosive? Correct me if I'm wrong. -
My aunt was killed by an impaired driver in Arizona. He refused to blow and the delay in getting him to hospital for the blood tox since they were trying to save my aunts life meant he was never indicted. Got away with murder. In September he and his wife got busted for running a marijuana grow and distributing. Real salt of the earth type. friggin scumbags.

Two moment from Saving private Ryan come to mind. Tom Sizemore and the German officer confront one another and both have malfunctions. And right before the fight between mellish and the German in the house, the gunner shoots through the plaster wall taking down a German soldier on the stairs. Just interesting to show what is good cover how the rounds penetrate.

4 year old shoots 6 year old, Toms River
woodentoe replied to Porthole's topic in General Discussion
We had "grief Counselors" assigned to our high school after a beloved teacher died on school property. They were terrible at their jobs. Perhaps it was a function of the fact that we were teenagers, but I quickly soured on them and we banded together in groups and talked to each other. We devised our own memorial for him and we got through it. How six year olds do that? I don't know. -
Best pie I've had in recent memory is at totonno's in Brooklyn. Denino's in Staten Island is the original and a fantastic pie. Pizza in jersey is mostly utility pizza. Mediocre with small pockets of good. Even manhattan is a tough find. There are SO MANY shitty slices to be had in manhattan that it almost becomes a wasteland of tourist mediocrity. For exceptional pizza, you have to go to the boroughs.

Best All-Around .22 Cal Semi-Auto Pistol under $400 ?? (POLL)
woodentoe replied to DblEGT's topic in Rimfire Pistols & Rifles
Ruger mk iii target. 5.5" bull barrel. Cleaning is straightforward once you bust the learning curve on it. Never had a malfunction in over 3500 rounds. I'd buy it all over again. -
Whatever you say, chief. I will concede if at the end of next season they've redeemed it by then. Great show. Great season. Mediocre finale. Questionable motives for dragging on a story arc ripe for closure. I'm glad you like it though, ray.

Tonight, the walking dead jumped the shark. Next seasons numbers will be HALF this season. There won't be a season 5

It is "aspersions". Not dispersions.
