  1. The soil rating from the "MAP" really means nothing. Its just gives a very broad sense to what soil type/classification is in the general area. Unless you get a soil log(s) and have a trained soils engineer (like me) look at it then that will give you some idea of a maximum allowable soil bearing capacity or rate of drainage. I have even started using some new software that you can plug in soil log data and it will simulate 10/25/50/100 year storm events. Or as someone suggested above, you can get a backhoe and just dig a hole and try to create your own soil log. If you go to your town hall the building department has records of (S.H.W.T.) Seasonal High Water Table based on wells that are monitored during the year, it would give you a great starting point to where your proposed basement finished floor elevation can be and if one (or two) sumps pumps might be needed. I hope this helped. If you want to email me then data that you have I can look at next week and give you an assessment.
  2. You guys are awesome, I guess I'm hitting the store after work tomorrow to pick one up. I just wanted it for the Sunday shootouts at the Clinton range. I clean my other semi after every use anyway so the cleaning is not a problem. My (really) old Remington Model 11 semi beats me up and I think its time for an upgrade! Thanks for your comments.
  3. I was wondering if anyone owns a Remington 11-87 Sportsman synthetic Semi. Like it? I saw it on sale at Dicks and it looks very tempting.
  4. Don't they sell hollow point rounds at the gun stores in NJ?
  5. It was a such a great move that the English Prime Minister quit his job. That action alone should speak volumes. I wonder what's going to happen when England wants to get back in and they are not allowed, then it's going to be a party.
  6. Seems as if their service is worse then when I ordered from them a few months ago and it took 3 phone calls and 22 days to get my order delivered. I believe that they place the orders in one state (Idaho?) and ship out from Washington. Somewhere this is a wide disconnect.
  7. Oh, Mays Landing....That's way south for me. Someone had mentioned meeting at Author's Steak House which is more my neck of the woods.
  8. Hey louu, if I can get out of work at a decent hour then I'll meet you there.
  9. I bought 9mm from them in the past and it shipped from Washington State and it took over two weeks to get to me.

    Sig P226 MK25 sights

Oh shit mine also is stamped 8 on the front too and 6 in the rear. I didn't notice that the 8 was stamped on the flat side.

    Sig P226 MK25 sights

My rear sight reads MH3 AO and the underlined 6, the front sight reads the same MH3 AO. I hope that helps. I bought mine about 4 months ago.
  15. One good thing will come from this, it will persuade people to recycle instead of adding to already over burdened landfills.
  16. Any chance you can send me your parts list? I always wanted to build my own AR.
  17. If anyone wants to do the a handgun class and wants to share share the cost/driving up to NH I would be down for that in a heart beat. I may even finally get to shoot my new Sig that's been collecting dust in the safe.
  18. I had to put +3 because Tom managed to sell me three guns in a very short period of time. He's like a gun lawyer and can answer any question about New Jersey firearms related topics. I just wish he was a little closer but I had to have that H&K VP9 among others things Tom acquired for me.
  19. I know how you feel Zeke, I just picked up a MK25-TB 9mm and it's unreal the way it shoots. It actually feels like you are holding a real gun in your hands.
  20. I guess this is a long time coming but i am in firearms mood today so here it goes..... 1. Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID). FID CARD AND THREE PERMITS TO PURCHASE 2. Police Department where you applied. EDISON 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD. ONE OF THE LADIES AT THE COUNTER, I DO NOT REMEMBER HER NAME BUT SHE WAS COOL 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. APPROXIMATELY 3 MONTHS (IT'S WHAT I FIGURED IT WOULD TAKE) 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). NOTHING 6. NOTES: 1. THE LADY AT THE COUNTER ASKED FOR MY EMAIL WHICH I WROTE DOWN WHERE SHE ASKED AND THEY DID NOT TYPE IT CORRECTLY SO THEY CALLED ME ONE WEEK AFTER THEY WERE SIGNED SO I HAD TO ACCELERATE THE BUYING PROCESS GIVEN THE 30 DAY RULE. 2. ON A SIDE NOTE, A WOMAN I KNOW APPLIED FOR HER FIRST EVER PERMIT ONE WEEK BEFORE ME AND SHE RECEIVED HER FIDC AND PERMIT IN LESS THAN 5 DAYS......WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!!!!! ARE WOMEN GETTING PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT NOW IN NEW JERSEY?
