  1. I think I might have been in your squad. Is you son 12-13 and shoots a M&P with a red FO front sight?
  2. Sure your at the right place? 2 dozen cars here and 4 stages built.
  3. Will definitely be there, have off tomorrow. Might bring the 10/22 to sight in afterwards.
  4. She would be more than welcome to take it to any ffl for sale or offer it for sale privately. Buying stuff you want to get rid of is not a function of government. She would likely get more for it from an ffl anyway.
  5. I plan on being there, but still don't have my schedule for next week...
  6. Purchasing items that people no longer want, be it firearms or furniture, is not a business the government should be involved in. There are plenty of gun shops that buy used guns.
  7. That, and the fact that the Japanese didn't want a war with the US. They wanted our Pacific Fleet out of the way so they could claim resources in the Western Pacific without a fight.
  8. Even if its not there anymore, questions 19/20 ask "have you ever..." Not "Is there a record of..."
  9. To my knowledge the protests are restricted in order to prevent them from interfering with the hunt, is that not correct? While people have the right to protest for anything they want, they do not have the right to create an undue burden on other lawful activities.
  10. I have an OLD (10ish year) logitech 5.1 system, and when set up it must have the matrix button on or the center and rear speakers won't work. Once set up matrix can be disabled though. Sounds great for an $80 system
  11. I've found Cci blazer bulk to work well. A little dirtier than some of tge better ammo, but it goes bang every time. I've had maybe 5 failures, mostly stovepipes, in the 5000 or so I've shot in my m&p and 10/22.
  12. Lying on the application (as on most government forms) is a crime. In this case a 3rd degree crime, which would definitely preclude you from ever (legally) owning firearms.
  13. PA actually isn't very far from anyone in New Jersey, and many people may spend substantial amount of time there because of work, family, and/or friends. How do you know how much time he spends in PA or any of the other 30 odd states that accept Florida's permit? Who are you to judge of what use something may be to another when you know nothing of his circumstances? I do agree that a NJ permit would be most useful to the majority of NJ residents, but that isn't going to happen in the foreseeable future, unless SCOTUS forces NJ to allow it.
  14. Play cops & robbers with your hands as "guns" now and you get suspended...
  15. Most zip ties are nylon, are they not? If so, heat will be your best bet. Most nylons lose the majority of their stiffness between 100 and 250 F, and won't melt until 400+ List of chemical effects on nylon Most of the stuff that has any effect on it you wouldn't want anywhere near a gun (or you, for that matter). One of the reasons why it's so popular.
  16. You want to be careful with plasmas though. Plasmas can be very difficult to see in bright rooms due to glare.
  17. Sorry, but you are incorrect. http://www.state.nj.us/lps/dcj/agguide/assltf.htm Semi-auto and detachable magazine are qualifiers, if it is semi-auto, but fixed magazine the evil features do not apply, if it is detachable magazine but not semi auto the evil features do not apply. For shotguns, semi-auto is the only qualifier, there a detachable magazine is an evil feature itself. Evil features: Rifle: 1. folding or telescoping stock 2. pistol grip 3. bayonet mount 4. flash suppressor OR threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor 5. grenade launcher (rifle grenade, not M203) Handgun: 1. magazine out of pistol grip 2. threaded barrel 3. shroud that enables you to hold with the non-trigger hand 4. >= 50oz unloaded, as manufactured 5. semi-auto version of automatic firearm Shotgun: 1. folding or telescoping stock* 2. pistol grip* 3. fixed magazine of more than 5 rounds* 4. detachable magazine. NOTE: For semi-auto shotguns there is also NJSA 2C:39-1w(3). Any semi-auto shotgun that has a folding stock, pistol grip, or a magazine (fixed is not specified), of greater than 6 rounds is an "assault weapon," regardless of what the NJ AG's guidelines say. It is an assault weapon if it has TWO OR MORE, meaning you may have one, of the evil features, per the NJ AG guidelines.
  18. Mainly because people are stupid and don't read what's in medicine they take. Tylenol is just fine if taken as directed. But if you take tylenol, and a cold medicine with acetominephin, and other medicines with it in it, you can easily exceed the safe dose.
  19. Do you have a Dick's/Cabela's/any other firearms/sporting goods related credit cards/rewards card? Wouldn't surprise me if they "shared" your information.
  20. It didn't? News to me. http://www.cbsnews.c...h/?id=50133288n Though I agree, the Democrats and the Republicans really are the same on most issues. There needs to be a viable third party...
  21. I had one yesterday that only had about 25% of the screen as browser, the rest was toolbars. Also there were 5 different registry checker/cleaner/etc programs. And she wonders why it was so slow...
  22. Eh? If he has enough land and his township doesn't have a no-discharge ordnance, what prevents him from renting a skid steer for the weekend and building a berm?
  23. The section of the nj administrative code expired. However it was immediately renewed.
