  1. Firing line in philly also does not give you a bin.
  2. Didn't feel it in Cherry Hill
  3. The highpoints are blowback operated, so the bolt isn't locked to the barrel during firing like it is in most handguns. The only thing keeping the bolt forward is the spring, just like in most .22s. If they drop the spring too much, the bolt won't stay forward long enough on high power loads.
  4. PPL doesn't make power? Then what is their facility at martins creek? Or their nuke plant just outside of berwick? Or any of the other 20 odd ppl generation plants?
  5. NJSA would like to disagree with you on that point. 2C:3-7 (b) limits the force that may be used to effect an arrest. It refers to the person effecting the arrest as "the actor." Subsection 2 states in part, Also, both 2A:160-22 and 2A:169-3 affirm the right of private citizens to arrest. Whether or not a citizen's arrest is a good idea is another topic though... As always, not legal advice.
  6. This the pension fund would be just fine if the state made the payments they were supposed to and kept their hands out of the cookie jar...
  7. Their only option here is to send it out to a repair facility for $360...
  8. You do realize that running BF3 with a virtualized 2008R2 in the background is a bit of a niche application? 6-8GB is plenty for gaming. Hell OS + 95% of games won't break 4GB. Granted, with the prices of RAM being where they are you aren't really spending that much more.
  9. I don't think he is, but it is possible. And his system isn't really outdated. i7 965 is still a very capable processor for gaming, and GTX280s aren't exactly slouches either, though they are a bit old. Some RAM, and W7 is all he really NEEDS.
  10. Depending on the computer and programs, yes you can have performance issues when running a virtual OS. If I'm reading your specs right you have an i7 965 (quad core with hyperthreading, which Windows will report as an 8 core processor even though it is only a quad), 2GB of RAM, and 2x GTX280. The processor is more than capable of running a virtual XP as well as demanding software on the virtual XP, the RAM not so much. RAM is stupid cheap, DDR3-1066 (also PC3-8500) is about $5/GB right now. For running games in a virtual XP I would recommend a minimum of 4GB, with 6-8 being ideal. Windows 7 will take up 1-2GB, XP will take about 512MB, with 2GB you will be seriously short. A better way, though more involved as you would need to reinstall programs, would be to upgrade to 7, you can either do this on the same HDD, add a HDD, and/or add a SSD for 7. I recently upgraded my computer from Vista to 7, and added both a HDD and SDD. SDD holds Windows and a few of my most frequent programs, old HDD is a data drive, and new HDD is for programs that don't fit on the SSD. From the end of POST to the login screen, 7 seconds.
  11. If the front sight is blurry how do you where you're really pointing?
  12. GTA 5, Halo 4, and Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm are three that I'm really looking forward to. Currently I mainly play Forza 4, EVE Online, and MW3 when I'm not working or at class.
  13. Similar incident where a county sheriff "borrowed" a county-owned generator. He resigned over the issue and they are considering not prosecuting because he "already lost $97,000 over it." Sickening, there should be zero tolerance for official misconduct.
  14. Except in this case it is explicitly forbidden. 2C:39-6 f is above, it does not allow for transportation between residences and/or businesses. Transporting hollowpoints outside of 2C:39-6 f is covered under 2C:39-3 g (2) a As always, not legal advice.
  15. NJ's anti-discrimination law, political party affiliation is not mentioned. It's his business, let him do as he pleases, though I never thought that making political statements with your livelihood was a particularly great idea.
  16. It never says you can't either. 2C:39-3f(1) regulates possession, not use, and possession in your house is legal.
  17. Where do you get that from? 39-5 is the unlawful possession of weapons statute, if you are convicted of violating 2C:39-5 b you obviously had a firearm in your possession while you committed the crime. That qualifier is there to invoke the Graves Act when 2C:11-3/4 (Murder/Manslaughter), 12-1b (assault), 13-1 (kidnapping), 14-2/3 (sexual assault), 15-1 (robbery), 18-2 (burglary), or 29-5 (prisoner escape) are committed with a gun. Perfectly legal to shoot at the range and in self defense, but technically a 3rd degree crime if you drop a single .22lr hollowpoint out of the 525 packs in your pocket. Obviously, not legal advice.
  18. Unlawful possession of a handgun is a 2nd degree crime. And its a gun so it invokes the Graves act, stiffening penalties. 7-14 years prison IIRC.
  19. Many of our politicians don't think you have the right to own "assault" weapons, therefore a treaty that prevents the import of "assault" weapons or weapons that can easily be converted to "assault" weapons, would not be infringing on your rights.
  20. After reading many Facebook posts today, apparently anyone who.didn't vote for Obama is a racist. Differing ideologies don't matter, just race... Oh, and bush is Satan incarnate.
  21. CNN is projecting the republicans retain the House however, so all is not lost, for another two years anyway.
  22. Modern times, WW1. The Treaty of Versailles set the pretext for WWII and all the little conflicts in the areas controlled by the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires.
