I'm inclined to agree with Malsua's points. He'll sign some, definitely the 10 round mag limit and most likely the mental health records. I do think that he would also sign the FAID renewal bill also. From a fiscal standpoint, every 5 years the state will get fee's sent to them from current FAID holders. They don't get that now. Think of it as the same as drivers license renewal's......if the state can get some $$ from it, they are going to do it. EDIT: Thanks for posting that info Mosin Fan.

This is a time when the gun organizations need to coordinate group transportation by region to these type of events. Other organizations do it. Heck, the dems were bussing in pro union voters in some key battleground states. You will get a much better showing if you can gather people and bus them in, IMO.

Definitely a trickle down effect on the .22 ammo. I had noticed that the centerfire auto rifles were first to be sold out and then the rimfires started disappearing. Obviously the ammo followed suit. I think most had gotten the notion that if they can't shoot/can't get ammo for centerfire rifles then drop back to the .22's. As for 223/556 ammo; I refuse to pay that much for it....thats absolutely nuts. Scary thing is, I can actually see it going a bit higher as these stupid (potential) AWB talks keep lingering. Great news for ammo distributors but definitely bad for us shooters.

I've been kicking myself for missing out on a trade that a member here offered last week for a mini 14. I thought about it a bit too long and missed out. Anyhow, I've read a lot of good things about the CX4. The only negative that seems to pop up fairly frequently have to do with the trigger....but thats not a game changer for me as it would be easily remedied if need be.

Oh yes! I was going to mention Bobbys Burger Palace but wasn't sure if it was considered fast food. Just like Five guys (was my favorite up until I had a BBP crunch burger) I wasn't sure if it qualified as fast food either. Traditional fast food? I do believe this gun just made my 2013 "want" list, replacing a DD V7 .556 that I originally wanted. Where can I find one? Everywhere I checked, all semi auto rifles I wanted are gone.

Damn ammo has gone up more than gold. I'm kicking myself now that I hadn't bought an extra case of PMC .556 when it was on sale this past summer (about 6.50 a box). That would've given me an extra 1K rounds that I could've sold on e-bay now and could've funded a new gun purchase. Yeah, yeah, I know "would've, could've, should've" hindsight is 20/20 and all that jazz.

The M&P .45 that PK90 has listed on his website is the same one that I have (sku#109306). It does not have a thumb safety or a mag disconnect. That is the one you want if you'd rather not do the mod. Although there is another with a slightly shorter barrel with the same set up as well.

I'm glad to see the officers will pull through and that the perp was "found guilty and sentenced". When I first read this story on the internet this morning the article was extremely short and left readers with conjecture to determine what actually happened. I'm not sure how quickly all of these facts were available but after all, it is typical of the media. Naturally, in light of recent events, most deduced that some crazy walked in and started shooting everyone. The anti's were all over it making statements like: "maybe they should have armed guards at the police station and this would not have happened" , etc. I mean, people were shot for crying out loud and those jacka$$es were making jokes? WTF is wrong with some people?

Whew, I can't thank you guys enough for your advice and suggestions. My current router (and switch) is made by Netgear but at least now I have some idea as to the direction I need to go in be it Apple airport express or a wireless router. Sure we do, for NJ 15 rounds IS high capacity, LOL. But on a more serious note, I have several magazines that were originally 20's but are now permanently fixed to only hold 15. How in the world do you prove you possessed them before this type of ban? Most receipts are long gone, and ones for my mini14 were done by a buddy in Pa for me. Sounds like I would be SOL. Also, I really have to stop reading these threads, as they just aggravate me to no end. The last part of that article where the politician is quoted had really gotten to me. WTF.
