These magazines are awesome! Since I ordered some from the first batch of cut downs, I did have a slight problem with a couple of them. I called you about it, you had me send them back and fixed them up for me very quickly and you hooked me up for my troubles . Great customer service and great magazines, I recommended you to a friend but he already knew about you. I have pmags that others have modified to 15 from 30 and 20 and none of them come close to the quality and reliability of MidwestPX pmags. I can't wait for Magpul to make AK magazines so I can get custom ones from you in the future.

JT and vlad are absolutely correct. A semi-auto with more than one "evil" feature would be considered illegal. I stand corrected.

I was there a few times about 4 - 5 months ago, prior to that maybe another 7 - 8 months before that but I did not notice better ventilation and sound supression. Like I said, its alright for a pistol range and definitely great for new shooters but if you are going often and have rifles there are much more suitable places.

Have you done any searches for closer ranges? If you shoot shotgun they let you shoot buckshot and slugs, no birdshot or target. If you shoot rifle they will only allow you to shoot less than .30 cal and .223 has to be frangible. So while its ok for a pistol range, it leaves a lot to be desired otherwise. Also their ventilation is a bit lacking IMO.

He is referring to evil features, one being the detachable magazine, the second being the pistol grip. Which means a collapsible stock or bayonet would be a third, and with his line of thinking a foregrip counts as a third evil feature, which it does not.

If you are worried about price you can check into the Mossberg Maverick 88, they can be had for around $220, less when on sale. They are basically a 500 but with parts made in Mexico. They accept all parts that fit a 500 also, so you can get a longer rifled 500 barrel for it. As far as for home defense, its good for the safe room, i.e. you have the door locked and are "cornered", if someone dares come into the room, god bless 'em.
