  1. I think you have some good points. I think wearing a suit would give our side more credence than we were getting. If you want to be respected by these politicians, you have to dress like them.
  2. Good luck to you. (so much for the 1st amendment there)
  3. Put an Obama Sticker next to the NRA sticker to screw with them.
  4. This is the only way to get our rights back Be it voting in the Primary (as a registered D) to defeat the incumbent, or in the fall election for a R. We have to fire a few of them to get the message across.
  5. Member of Bloomberg group allegedly fired weapon to intimidate man into having sex with him http://www.wnd.com/2013/04/mayor-against-illegal-guns-arrested-over-gun-threat/ Marcus Hook, PA — A member of the Michael Bloomberg-sponsored gun control organization “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” has been arrested and charged in connection with a handgun incident at his home. James Schiliro, a.k.a. Jay Schiliro, the mayor of Marcus Hook, a small town in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, faces charges of official oppression, reckless endangerment, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and furnishing a minor with alcohol. He surrendered to authorities on Thursday morning, and his attorney declared that “we intend to fight these charges.” Schiliro, 38, allegedly ordered a local police officer to bring a 20-year-old male friend to his home, where the mayor plied him with alcohol, and made sexual advances which the man refused. Schiliro allegedly brandished several handguns and fired one of them into the floor in an apparent attempt to intimidate the young man, who reportedly was in fear of his life.
  6. Criminals are defined by the fact they do not follow laws. If a criminal is planning on KILLING someone, why do you think any laws will stop them?
  7. I'm with you on this one. These popular stocks do not "collapse" or "telescope" into what is essentially a pistol, they merely adjust over a limited range of motion. Anywhere in this range, they are legal. What difference does it make if they are an overall legal length? Why they get lumped together with these is unbelievable.
  8. I made a note in another thread that we should be able to put "sound attenuators" on guns. This reduction in sound would improve the quality of life for those that live near outdoor ranges. Just a small sacrifice that we can make for the good of the community.
  9. First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.
  10. On the bight side, by keeping him occupied for about 1/2 an hour, you saved many others from getting a ticket. And for this, your fellow motorists thank you.
  11. Not only that, but they did not even have permits for the Guns! Maybe we need laws to make criminals obey the law. Mass. Police: Bomb Suspects Didn't Have Gun Permit http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/mass-police-bomb-suspects-gun-permit-19011300#.UXR-ZsokQZd A Massachusetts police official say the brothers suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon before having shootouts with authorities didn't have gun permits. Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas tells The Associated Press in an interview Sunday that neither Tamerlan Tsarnaev (tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) nor his brother Dzhokhar had permission to carry firearms. He says it's unclear whether either ever applied and the applications aren't considered public records. But he says the 19-year-old Dzhokhar (joh-KHAR') would have been denied a permit because of his age. Only people 21 or older are allowed gun licenses in Massachusetts. The suspects were also accused of hijacking a Mercedes on Thursday night. Haas says the pair didn't release the driver, but he escaped when he was left alone while the two men entered a convenience store.
  12. These look like they would be fun. http://www.accuracyinternational.com/ax338.php
  13. Did you go to this one? I would have loved to see what went on, but the flu has got me down,
  14. I would like to try some long distance target shooting. What is the max range you can find in NJ, vs driving out into neighboring America?
  15. Done and Done again I can vote twice, (from 2 computers) It is just like being a Democrat in Chicago
  16. While I admit nj has high business taxes, high property taxes and ranks at the bottom when it comes to freedom, we offset all of this with crappy weather.
  17. There are lots of empty factories in NJ, maybe this would be a good place for their business.
  18. I think Silencer has evil connotations. A muffler or sound attenuator has a much more benign ring to it.
  19. They should make those shooters use some kind of muffler on their guns.
  20. In think these anti big government people are going to be allies that were not expected.
  21. I feel the current anti 2a rhetoric has awoken a sleeping giant. The anti gun movement by the democrats is going to make more people show up to the pols, and vote them out.
  22. Nobody needs a 30lb assault dog, let alone a 100lb assault dog. Those are best left to the military, or the police. We should have a 15 lb limits on dogs, maybe even 10 or 7 lbs. We are not trying to take away your right to have a dog, we just need common sense regulations on your freedom to own these killing machines. If we save just one seal lion pup's life, it will be worth it.
