  1. awww... fine print... excludes pallet orders. DAMNIT!
  2. hmmmm.... do I *need* anything else...
  3. I'm pretty sure he meant shoUting, not ShoOting.
  4. the message being, we can click buttons.
  5. I haven't bought ammo in NJ since the first 2 boxes of 9mm back in 2009. Ordering online and delivered is the only way to go. Heck until recently I wasn't even paying shipping!
  6. ask the shop if they'll laser bore sight it.
  7. I'm not sure the words "Remington" and "quality" should be in the same affirmative statement. Their UMC 9mm ammo was meh and dirtier than MagTech's stuff (and that's saying a lot!) and their Golden Bullet .22LR is definitely not the best I've ever seen.
  8. the boxes for my 1000 .45 I just got are a little worse for the wear. they really need to double-box that much ammo.
  9. Let's not get into platform wars, ok? (besides, HK beats them all. )
  10. My 2 cents... Integrate into your training every time the pistol comes down off target you flick the safety on and as you bring it back up you flick it off; that would include when doing a reload. You have however discovered why none of my go-to defensive pistols have manual safeties on them.
  11. Kind of surprised there's no consensus or commonality. I mean if neighboring towns get involved in something what if there's a need to share ammo/mags/guns?
  12. mine came today. damn 1000rnds of 45 is heavy!
  13. if you're referring to the day-after-Christmas snow storm, anyone who got caught out in that was an effing moron.
  14. mine's in Secaucus now. wish I'd known that... I was in the area earlier today. I could have saved them the trip of taking it to bound brook and on to me
  15. I think I need to add a bandolier/belt to the bug out kit.
  16. I have an SR22. I take it with me every time I go to the range as my "warm up" gun. cheapest way to knock off some of the cob webs from my shooting before I start throwing expensive lead downrange.
  17. your driver's license (which iirc is presented upon first request for an FPID or a permit) already states where you live. To obtain a driver's license you already had to PROVE you live where you say you live. There is no need for a personalized visit by the police. It is an unnecessary waste of limited resources (police manpower and time) and is beyond the scope of the letter of the law.
  18. it is a quote big deal quote.it's not part of the mandated paperwork and requirements as laid down by law. If it's not part of the law it's illegal. Just because it's not inconvenient to some doesn't make it wrong. Follow the letter of the law. the current laws are already onerous enough we don't need any additional infringement.
  19. I have a bunch of GB to go through still. Hate that stuff. the SR22 will eat it, but it's far too flaky an ammo load for my taste. frequent feed failures from loose boolits, underpowered loads (squibs), dirty dirty ammo overall; I have to clean my gun after every range session or I feel bad. can't wait to finish it and get back to the boxes of federal I bought.
  20. UPS is saying I'll see mine Thursday, but the Hodgkins trailer hasn't left yet. Everyone get your tin foil hats on. The gov't is delaying our ammo shipments!
