  1. Slayer in Huntington Overkill and Symphony X at Terminal 5 saw Kid Rock at the Palace in Detroit .. great show
  2. i have , i bought two 46" LCD Samsung tv's from them about 4 yrs ago .. the price was right , and they were close to me, i think somewhere in Linden or Raritan they had a store front in one of those large box buildings. both tv's working great still no complaints.
  3. i like charcoal but the hassle just isn't worth it for me either. i have a Weber Genesis that i like alot. the materials used are superior to what i see in similar price range from other grills. The cast iron lid is the key as are the porcelain grates for even cooking and great grill marks... i like 3 burners for moving food around and different temps , keeping things warm as well high heat if need be. and also this........ http://www.theonion.com/article/study-average-father-thinks-about-sealing-meats-ju-50457
  4. same here , only event listed is 5/24 USPSA match. i'm excited for my first multi-gun match! ... but 4-Gun might be pushing it for my first time out. lol ..obvious typo..but intrigued non the less.
  5. i'm on second cover for the Weber Genesis in 3yrs ... grill is outdoors 24/7 365 and the first cover turned so brittle and actually shrink wrapped from sun exposure around the grill so tight i had to cut it off. i just bought a new weber cover and they have changed to material to a less petroleum based (if that's what they are made of) to a much lighter material...i got tired of searching for a cheaper substitute that would fit over the lid handle on the Genesis ... we'll see how it goes
  6. So Remington is having a sale on some select products with some prerequisites: saw this on another forum, though there might be some interest here. Limit Five (5) Firearms per order Must be a current USPSA Member Must include a current Federal Firearms License for the shipping address, as well as a scanned copy of current USPSA Membership. http://uspsa.org/ROC.php seems like some ok pricing, i'm looking at a SS Enhanced for $588 ... If any one has any info on these , good or bad , would be appreciated.
  7. If your place of employment has a 30 day rule, they should also offer a 401k plan , 529 or IRA option to invest in. If you goal is to just hedge your existing investments, look at some of the precious metal funds they participate in. This will offer some inflation risk offset if you think that's where we're headed. this is not advice , just an opinion.
  8. fight goes the distance, Mayweather by decision
  9. agree with previous posters, i give riders plenty of room on the road , but most drivers in NJ could care less, I always said i would get one when i grew up , but seeing how riders are treated with disregard around here convinces me otherwise. and sitting on the NJTP in traffic, in the rain.
  10. All excellent choices to consider as most previous posters have said , i own the VP9 and love it. The back and side grip panels to customize the grip make it conform to many diff. hand sizes. I have about 3k factory rounds through it and no issues. CZ gets plenty of love also, but never shot one. i'm close to OBRPC if you want to meet and dump a few mags from my VP9, i also have a Beretta 96A1 (.40 S&W) if you care to try and compare.. shoot me a pm
  11. here's a decent deal from Harbor Freight .. $299 with coupon ..i prefer a safe to a cabinet type .. but this seems to be somewhere in-between .. http://www.harborfreight.com/executive-safe-95824.html?ccdenc=eyJjb2RlIjoiMTIxMTk2MjYiLCJza3UiOiI5NTgyNCIsImlzIjoiMjk5Ljk5IiwicHJvZHVjdF9p%0D%0AZCI6IjMzMDkifQ%3D%3D%0D%0A
  12. This 25yr. Penn. policeman has retro-fitted some vending machines to sell ammo at his local shooting club. I wish i thought of it, he runs Master Ammo and makes his own to distribute in the machines. “This has been kept a secret, it’s nobody’s business, it’s our club, we can do as our members allow us,” Fortuna told BeaverCountian.com. “Legally, there’s nothing anybody can do about it.” http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/03/05/worth-shot-pa-man-vending-machines-sell-ammo/?intcmp=latestnews
  13. The gun charge seems to be preposterous... but can we just wait for all the facts to come out before we put up the 100ft bronze statue.
  14. THIS /\ leaving the door open when not in use is the key ,especially after just finishing a cycle. we had a maytag that made our clothes smell funky, towels particularly. the rubber seal that surrounds the door captures water that does not evaporate with the door closed when not in use causing the seal to get moldy and cruddy.. that is the root of the foul smell. ... and i can't believe this thread is 4pgs...lol
  15. As Vlad said. Get an advisor as everyone has different needs. Contribute the allowable maximum to whichever instrument you choose Best of luck
  16. http://www.amazon.com/Stack-On-IWC-55-Full-Length-In-Wall-Cabinet/dp/B002TOKR6W/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_b/187-4210720-1755520 i looked into something like this for myself, price is right , crappy lock ..but good enough to keep kids out. installs between the studs in your closet wall .
  17. i highly recommend the VP9 .. i got mine from Otto's(non-LE) in early September and use it for USPSA prod. division. I like everything about it ..charging tabs are helpful and not an obstruction in any way. Sights are pretty nice out of the box. I thought i may have an issue with the trigger guard paddle mag release , turns out it's easier doing reloads on the move and actually forces your trigger finger out of the guard. Some complain of finger pain from the trigger? i don't have that issue. mags are easy to find since it takes the p30 mags and they are everywhere. holster was another issue, but finally found the Safariland 5197 works great. just needs a little filing where it hits the mag release on the trigger guard and you are good to go .... i am unclassified , but feel like this gun bumped me up a bit . http://www.midwayusa.com/product/810815/safariland-5197-mid-ride-belt-loop-holster-with-detent-glock-20-21-30s-polymer-black
  18. .375in .. AR500 steel .. i may pick up a few http://mgmtargets.com/specials
  19. too bad the Burris red dot are sold out , i would have scooped one for sure. But i did get some clothes, i like the jeans. saved $150.00 ... that is LEGIT!!!... thanks for posting
  20. From USPSA: We have become aware of a security breach that happened on USPSA.org within the last 24 hours. The USPSA website login database was compromised and at least a partial list of usernames and passwords were exposed. USPSA staff has taken steps to address the vulnerability, and we have changed the system to ensure this type of attack will not be effective in the future. Members are strongly encouraged to change their passwords on USPSA.ORG and any other website for which they used the same email and password. It is important to note that the breech did not involve the credit card processing system or any financial data. All credit card processing is done using a separate industry standard secure vendor — no credit card information is stored on the USPSA server. We will keep the membership updated as more information is available.
  21. Yes , and quite a few others apparently ... thought this was interesting : Our intention is that eventually all existing Smith & Wesson®, M&P®, and Thompson/Center Arms™ accessories will be housed within this new division. As we continue to expand further into the hunting category, we expect that our accessories businesses will benefit from Battenfeld Technologies'
