  1. You have to hand it to the RO with how fast he took control of the guy's hand and showed them the door
  2. As others have said, your best bet is to either a) lower your prices significantly as suggested and part it out or b) put it on consignment at a shop that gets a good amount of traffic through it such as Howell Gun Works. You're going to take a bit of a financial hit either way based upon how saturated the market is right now. It basically depends on how much time and effort you want to spend actively managing your listing vs. giving putting it on consignment and waiting passively (for the most part) for it to sell.
  3. Add another vote for Dashlane. I've been using it for awhile and it really does make the whole password management process much easier, plus you can set an emergency contact in case someone else needs to get into your accounts for any reason.
  4. Definitely start with checking the optics mount first like Bob said. If that's not the problem then I'd maybe take the handguard off and check to see if the barrel nut may becoming loose
  5. Amazon will ship ammo cans and organizers with zero issues. EDIT: I obviously failed my reading comprehension test today by not seeing the big "WALMART" in the title
  6. I saw in the picture that it looks like you're using a bipod on a table - try swapping the bipod out with a sandbag or shooting bag and see if that helps tighten the group up a little by helping you to control the "bounce" a little. I normally don't use a bipod unless I'm shooting prone. If I'm shooting from a bench I use a front and rear bag combo. Keep it up though, the more you practice (and focus on the fundamentals) the more you'll improve.
  7. Yep - my weekends should be opening up soon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ahhh...I missed that detail. Maybe a Manners T2 then? I’ve got that on my .308 shorty and I’ve got no complaints (other than I don’t get a chance to shoot it as often as I’d like) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. My vote for the stock (the only aesthetic downside is that it's inlet for the Defiance action): https://www.coreshooting.com/collections/manners-composite-stocks/products/manners-composite-stocks-t4a-for-remington-700-short-action?variant=44403889091

  11. Unless something has changed, the Scout model has a brake and not a flash hider.
  12. Lantac makes a really nice side charger and upper receiver: https://www.lantac-usa.com/product-page/enhanced-bcg-di-side-cahrager-223-5-56 https://www.lantac-usa.com/product-page/usc-billet-upper-side-charging-receiver I know someone that's used these on a build and is very happy with them. They also make a straight-pull BCG as well. They had a complete Lantac straight-pull upper on display at RTSP not too long ago. From what I remember it was basically the same Raven upper with the straight-pull BCG and a barrel that doesn't have the gas port drilled
  13. I had a little trouble as well getting their website to take the .jpg from my phone but got it done after a few tries. I got my confirmation email from them for the order so I think I’m good now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No worries really - I don't have any concerns with the vendors that ask for it; however, to your point, I was surprised that they asked for it since my order didnt include any handgun ammo.
  15. Yeah - my order when through once I uploaded the copy just now
  16. Has anyone else noticed that Target Sports USA is now requesting a cppy of your FID when placing an order? I placed an order for some match ammo this morning and was greeted by a "please upload a copy of your permit in order to complete your purchase" message. I haven't ordered from them for awhile but i don't recall them ever asking for the FID card copy previously.

  18. I can’t argue that a 10/22 is not as accurate (or maybe even more accurate) than a 455 in some cases. However, I went a different route because I wanted a bolt gun that closely mimics my .308 bolt gun and can be made as precise as possible without breaking the bank (and gives me a chance to challenge myself with wind calls at 100+ yards). I had the scope sitting in a drawer, so all I needed to get going was the scope rail which put me out another $50 before I could hit the range. To me, the street price of the 455 with the Manners stock was a lot more palatable than the $2k+ that I could have dropped on a Vudoo Gun Works .22LR that I could have built to match my .308 exactly. 19. I don’t think that you can go wrong with any of the CZ 455 models. What’s great about them is that, similar to the Ruger 10/22, there are a ton of aftermarket parts for them (barrels, trigger kits, stocks, etc.) I shot a bunch of .22LR bolt guns (Savage, CZ, Anschutz, and Ruger) before I decided on the 455. In the end, I narrowed my choices to either the Savage or CZ and went with the CZ. The RPR rimfire is another solid choice that will probably have a lot more aftermarket support down the road. My gripe with that gun is that I kind of feel that Ruger cut corners on the chassis design in order to keep the gun at a certain price point which I can’t fault them for. 20. If you like drinking strong, straight black, coffee, then give Valhalla Java Odinforce from Deathwish Coffee a try. I make a pot of this stuff every morning using a Chemex and it comes out perfect. It's definitely strong but it's not overly acidic or bitter. https://www.deathwishcoffee.com/products/valhalla-java-odin-force-blend
  21. I've had the CZ 455 Precision Trainer for about 3 months now and put at least 500+ round through it. It's easily one of the most accurate .22LRs that I've owned. The only modification that I feel needs to be done at this point is to replace the trigger spring with a YoDave kit to lighten it up just a tiny bit (and find some lower rings to get the scope a little closer to the barrel). My only "complaint" would be the magazines which are a little expensive and feel kind of flimsy unlike some other .22LR mags that I've used. The same barreled action is available in the CZ Tacticool model, the only difference being that the stock is laminate wood instead of fiberglass. Edit: Added a picture of a 5 round group at 50 yards using Federal Target Ammo. I’ll blame myself for the flyer at the top right

    Remington 11-87

If it's in good condition and a decent price then grab it. I've been using an 11-87 for clays (skeet and sporting clays) for about 8 years. They run fine as long as you keep the gas piston clean. I'm actually still using the same o-ring that came with the gun fron the factory (I always rub a little silicon grease on it when cleaning and put some painters tape over the magazine threads when taking it on and off). It runs pretty much every type of ammo that i put through it. The only ammo that i have trouble with occassionally is Estate (the brass will separate from the shell during extraction)
  23. I've got a 1-6x Vortex StrikeEagle on my Tavor in an ADM mount. I have no issues shooting it close range as long as its on 1x and I keep both eyes open (which I tend to do most of the time). I did have to use a riser to get a more natural sight picture and cheekweld though
