  1. Wine, cider, and mead. Easier than beer. https://www.youtube.com/c/CitySteadingyt
  2. Check out how Sam does it, he's become one of my favorite cooking channels:
  3. Be careful with marinating too long in vinegar (acid) - it could make the meat mushy.
  4. I would look at it more as you do not want to advertise that there are firearms in the house.
  5. You're list is essentially considering several full-sized pistols with one compact pistol (P365) specifically designed for concealed carry. The P365 does not fit your "multi-purpose (home defense + range)" criteria.
  6. ^ This. When I moved from NJ to SC three years ago that's exactly the route I took. Welcome! Where are you moving to?
  7. They are now available. https://www.midwayusa.com/military-surplus-guns/br?cid=24008&utm_source=general-promotion&utm_medium=email&utm_content=&utm_campaign=m1-carbine-shop-now
  8. https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-jersey-attack-multiple-firearms-recovered-arrested So all the highly restrictive gun laws already in place could not stop this crime (including the "large capacity" mag ban) but more laws would have helped here?
  9. Is that concealed or open carry?
  10. I just filled up last night at the first place I stopped.
  11. My sense is most NJ residents are getting exactly what they want ...
  12. This is not your problem! It's just business, don't make it personal. Believe me, if they had to let you go I'm sure they would probably do what's in their best interest - most companies do. 2 weeks notice is more than fair.
  13. ^ this 1000%. Now is the time while you are relatively unencumbered. Worst case take the other job to give you some more time to think about what you want to do. As for the degree, only pursue it if it's absolutely necessary for what you want to do. College is one of he biggest scams going. Yep, no brainer especially if you are burnt out on cooking I have a specific example of a guy I hired a few years back. He had gone to culinary school and then spent time in the army, He was looking for a change and I hired him to be a support rep for my software dev company. Over time he has grown, changed employers a couple of times, and is now a product manager. He's doing well for himself and he has no "degree", just smarts and determination. How is that different than what you are doing now? This will be an issue anywhere you work. oh yeah, and get out of NJ if you can!
  14. Competitive shooting. Firearms are not just for HD, they can also be used for sport.

  17. South Carolina is pushing new gun laws too ... but in the opposite direction. https://abcnews4.com/news/local/south-carolina-house-passes-gun-rights-bill-allowing-open-carry-without-permit
  18. When I was having this "problem" I found a particularly effective technique of after about 10-15 minutes, going down to the basement and shutting off the hot water.
