Too many 2nd and 3rd order harmonics to suit me

I first got my license in 1978 as a Novice. When I renew, I'll follow the authors advice and use a P.O. Box in a nearby town. Foolproof? No, but better than looking up my call sign in the database and getting my physical address.

Gun ForHire Radio #635 What a sh*t show the State of NJ is! Still waiting for “interim” qualification direction. As soon as we have it so will you. All GunForHire Alumni will be taken care of 100% so please hang tight! We got you, you have my word

I really enjoyed your show! And you're right: 2A folks need to stop arguing among ourselves. Interesting that the NJ AG wants us to shoot at 25 yards.....yet we are supposed to be retreating (I'll be running when I'm "retreating") -
In addition to the good advice given in the previous post, there was an individual, who was an active member of this forum, who was attempting to get his FFL a few years right around the time the Fauci Fungus started. He chronicled his journey, detailing his dealings with the local zoning board, ATF, and the NJSP. He might be able to give insight from his perspective. Just a thought.

List of NJ Businesses posting 'No Guns' signs
dilbert1967 replied to 10X's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Spotts Hardware, Medford, Burlington County. There are small signs at each entrance. I asked an employee how long the sign has been there. He believes it was posted 8 months ago. -
NJ LAWMAKERS ANNOUNCE PLANS TO DESTROY RIGHT TO CARRY
dilbert1967 replied to M1152's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
If I were to apply for a permit, I would have to train hard to hit targets at 25 yards consistently. I can think of few situations where I would engage an aggressor at that distance. Maybe a family member somehow got between me and the shooter, then I'd be forced to run toward the family member (and the shooter) to assist them to safety? I think they should have left the requirement at 15 yards. -
My flag is flying today. Each year there are fewer people that know what June 6th is all about. Thanks for being one that remembered.

Concealed Carry for Women... and the Sad Dearth of Good Options

That's a nice pistol! -
I hear you and feel your pain. I now realize I made the situation worse with a bad decision: Classroom Instruction/Use of Force/Qualification $325 (It pays to do some research beforehand). Township/State Police permit fee $200 Fingerprinting $65 Ammunition $50 What I can't calculate is how much the liability insurance will cost if that requirement is not repealed. Anyway, I stopped spending after I completed classroom/use of force/qualification. Instead of Murph getting my permit fee, I'm sending it to ANJRPC.

2500 acre forest fire in Manchester
dilbert1967 replied to silverado427's topic in General Discussion
It's in the Manchester township area known as Beckersville. The drone (and camera) for the most part are aimed at Lakehurst portion of JBMDL. -
During World War II, there was a Admiral Frank Jack Fletcher that served in the Pacific. He commanded at least five Task Forces, including the one that was supposed to relieve Wake Island. I suppose if you google it you'll find out a lot more, but that's all I remember about him. Maybe a clue??

Appointments for dropping off out of state applications
dilbert1967 replied to Lorenzo's topic in Concealed Carry
I'm serviced by a State Police barracks as well. I recommend stopping in, in person, to schedule as future appointment. It should take all of two minutes and you can make a note the person you talked to. All troopers wear a metal name plate on their uniform. If for some reason they won't talk to you because you walked in, then I would notify the ANJRPC Strike Force. -
709 submissions and a two day backlog. It hasn't been that "good" since early December. On a positive note, it means people are buying what they need regardless of what is happening in Trenton.

NJ Handgun Carry Permit Application Experience
dilbert1967 replied to CJack's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Maybe someone who completed the process regarding your first question could answer it. The second question, only PA resident permits have reciprocity with other states such as Florida https://www.handgunlaw.us/states/pennsylvania.pdf -
NJ LAWMAKERS ANNOUNCE PLANS TO DESTROY RIGHT TO CARRY
dilbert1967 replied to M1152's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
For anyone interested, I attended a presentation by a representative from US LawShield at WeShoot USA yesterday morning. He told the group that USL is working to build an insurance package that would the meet the requirements under the revised NJ law. They anticipate to have it ready by late spring. -
Heritage Guild in Rahway, NJ. He's worked on my Ruger revolvers and my Rossi lever action carbine.

Agree. And if that municipality doesn't have a police department, the entire fee would likely go to the state. Phil gets enough of my money.

NJ LAWMAKERS ANNOUNCE PLANS TO DESTROY RIGHT TO CARRY
dilbert1967 replied to M1152's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
Wow! If they have the right to hire counsel "contractors", we might as well abolish the Attorney General's Office. There are dozens of Deputy Attorney Generals, in salary grades 1 through 4, that do everything from preparing for cases (grade 1) to fetching coffee for the grade 1 (salary grade 4). We could save a lot of money........ -
