  1. My guess it doesn't, since it's an '02, but that newer add on radio in the other vehicle did. His other choice is to copy the MP3 files to a cheap tablet and play it thru that transmitter cord he uses for his phone thru the headphone jack.
  2. Just a sincere term of endearment. Well, if that doesn't fly, I'll just use the story line for the next Tom Clancy novel. Actually, Fedex or UPS would be better with a Signature or delivery confirmation. Then they can't say that they didn't posses them. The odds of them actually being held accountable would be slim and none, but might give us some push-back ammo... One can dream...
  3. What if they just copy and paste that list of semi-autos that they used in the mag bill? That seems to cover a lot of hardware.
  4. But they won't know what's in the box until they open it, which will be done in their home. Possession = Felon on Dec. 11th. It will be after the fact if they call LEO to come get them. We need to photograph the box before it gets sealed so you can show what was in it and who it's being sent to.
  5. I think we should all mail 15 round magazines on Dec. 10th to all the state politicians houses that voted for the bill. Then on Dec. 11, when the packages arrive at their houses, we photograph them receiving the mags. Instant felons! Then post their pictures on all the state newspapers. Turn around is fair game! If turban head refuses to prosecute them, there's our "Get out of Jail free" card!
  6. If you're going to do that with open carry, just go all out. Go big or go home!
  7. Propane, coal, heating oil and wood burning stoves count too.
  8. My opinion is that you need more than just "opening packages". If you spewed off a list of specific tasks you do regularly (cut rope, clean electrical contacts, scrape paint, dig out splinters, pick your teeth, open your lunch bags, clean your nails, cut your apples, open mail, etc.) with the knife, that might get them to back down and make it sound believable.
  9. That's another great point. Besides having WORKING smoke and CO detectors, does everyone have an action plan if yours go off? Do you have multiple ways to exit a room if one way is blocked by fire? Do all the occupants know their role in case of a fire? Who grabs what when exiting (kids, animals, important papers, your log in to NJGF). Who's calling 911? Will you attempt to put the fire out on your own, do you have working fire extinguishers in the right places and know how to use them? Do all family members know a common meeting place when outside to verify everyone got out safely? Got fire insurance, even if you're a renter? Pre-planning is the key to fire prevention. Running around like a chicken with your head cut off when the room is filled with smoke and the detectors are screaming isn't the time to put together a plan.
  10. Hopefully that wasn't you doing burnouts in the kitchen? Or put a price on "I want them".... they always win...
  11. How well does it work on those chickens and ducks?
  12. Some of the newer Honeywell systems are actually wireless, so yes, the batteries need to be checked on them or complete units replaced.
  13. Looking at the Senate vote map from last week, it certainly could be possible. Boy, that state is turning "Bluer"....
  14. How much for the painting of the guy with the hat?
  15. Many are hardwired, but they still have backup batteries in them, in case of a power failure. THIS IS REALLY AN IMPORTANT POINT!! It also should be a combo unit, smoke and CO. I just love these really technical terms!
  16. What about a pistol caliber carbine instead. They're a lot of fun, and you can share your existing stockpile of ammo and sometimes even your existing mags.
  17. It's that time of the year again, time for some IMPORTANT updates: First, It's time to change the filters in your HVAC system after the Summer and get it ready for Winter. Don't forget to vacuum the registers and check your humidifier to make sure it's adding moisture for the heating season. Second, and the MOST important. Time to replace the batteries in all Smoke Detectors and CO Detectors. You do this every year, right? Oh wait, I see some of you have your smoke detectors hanging like this, because it was chirping: Really.... REALLY!!! I can't believe it. So, get your step ladder out, and change those batteries!! Wait, what, you don't have enough batteries? You're kidding, right? You have 1000's of rounds of ammo stored but not enough batteries for all your smoke detectors?? I'm shocked!! OK, so RIGHT NOW, if you're using Tap-A-Talk or accessing the forum from your phone, send yourself a text or an email as a reminder to change the batteries. Even better, send your wife or significant other the text or email, so they will bug you to do it! I certainly hope I don't see anything like this one below, where you took the detector down because it was beeping.... Come on.... really???? OK, go get in the car, RIGHT NOW, and drive to Home Depot and buy a new detector.... I'm sure none of you want your house to look like this one, with YOU in it, because your detectors weren't working right? OK, so now everyone has sent the text or email, wrote a big sticky, or leaving right now for Home Depot...... RIGHT?? Good.... my job is done here... Remember, the Life you Save will be Your Own!!
  18. The number of homicides just in Chicago each year, by the boys in the 'hood, surpass murders in mass killings. Did you ever hear the Liberal MSM rail on and on about that?? Didn't think so....
  19. We've been effed for a long time, the state has had a Dem legislature for quite a while. Now, we have crap for representation in DC, when was the last time the DC assholes have done anything positive for us? Red or Blue in DC, they were useless to us here.
  20. You can also order 10/30 blocks from Magblocks with new 30 round springs. Just pop out the block, and bingo, back to 30!
  21. Interesting, it's been years since I bought handgun ammo in this state, but when I did, none of the personal information was collected from me. Do they consider copying your FID number adequate, because that was the only thing recorded?
  22. How about putting them in the oven for a while or using a heat gun on the glue?
  23. Wifey listens to them on her ride home sometimes, she says the same thing. She says WTF is wrong with the people in this state. Must be the fumes from the refineries....
