  1. Want to guess what else Google has "stored" on you?
  2. Marketed to the current gun enthusiasts, probably not. Not a large enough volume. Marketed to Millennial guys who love their video games, marketed as a corporate team building experience, marketed to marginal gun interested people. Setting up leagues where guys can compete against other guys, adult birthday parties, bachelor parties, other groups or other similar events, etc. Thinking out of the box to expand the potential customer base would be the key. If you're thinking of moving forward, keep me in mind, I might be interested as an investor. I'll handle the marketing.

I had that same issue when I had my pup neutered. The blow up version was the solution. So much better.
  4. Really? Like with a "happy ending" or something? https://www.cubcleaners.com/the-cubs/ You set yourself up for that one, way too easy.
  5. You don't understand. It's two things.. First, it costs a few hundred dollars to get a URL and put up a web site THAT YOU OWN. Most hosting companies even have templates you can use to make a site to list all your products or services. If this is a financial burden for a company, I really question their viability and where else they cut corners. Second, a company DOESN'T Own Facebook, so putting all your apples and visibility of your company on someone's elses web site, that can disappear by one mouse click by Zuckerberg, is totally stupid. And that's before all the crap Facebook injects into feeds on those FB pages. You can't control the content they add to your page, who knows what other products or services come up on a companies FB page. Totally stupid to rely on someone else (that you don't pay for) to control the visibility of your company. That also goes for Youtube, Instagram and Twitter.
  6. When ever I see a business that ONLY uses FB to advertise their business, but won't invest in a regular web site with information, I take my business elsewhere. That tells me what the service or product they're selling is probably the same, Cheap or Easy, or they cut corners.
  7. Apparently you don't remember what happened to available ammo and ammo prices after the Sandy Hook shooting.
  8. You don't get it. All the holes in the waffles hold so much more butter than flat pancakes!
  9. I don't get too many "uninvited" guests wandering around in my house at 2 AM. Do you? They're pretty easy to spot (and hit) at short range. Not really concerned with doing a "One Hole" drill at that time of the morning. I figure, anything hitting the torso will get my point across, right? That's why I have lasers on all my HD handguns Yes, and I believe "practice makes perfect", so I'm aware of that too. But at the end of the day, like I said above, this isn't my daily profession like yours, it's just a fun hobby and sport for me. I'm not trying to win any competitions (although I beat my sons every time we have a competition at the range. Just think, we're getting our maximum number of rounds per hour of range time. Plus lots of experience reloading mags. Want to see the size of my thumbs?
  10. Wow, this boy is full of contradictions today. Seems to be a pattern.....
  11. Wait, that doesn't make sense. You originally said it was YOUR rifle? Now, who does it belong to, if you don't have a FID?
  12. Then you picked the wrong profession That can be fun sometimes, too, ya know... Very true, but not all of us depend on that skill for use during our day job. I just want to be sure I can take down a tweaker who decides to wander into my house in the middle of the night.
  13. Slackers... The two of us run through at least 700 - 800 between three calibers, 9mm, 22LR and .40
  14. Actually, on my 870, I have both, with this ShurShot stock. I think it just depends on your preference and how you want to hang on.

Can't go wrong with a Lab mix, great dogs. What is it mixed with? Why was this dog at the shelter if it was this nice and calm? Who gave it up?
  16. Interesting, their web site said it was 30 minute sessions.
  17. Doing some research, it looked like 30 minute time slots were popular. For the average group of people, that could be enough. I saw three separate uses for the systems. Training for LEO and security people, as a range for gun enthusiasts and for corporate team building outings. How about from a "techie" teenager? After all, it's a glorified video game, right? Actually one of the systems I was reading about said you can use just about all guns. They had a insertable mag that was the laser, it just didn't have the recoil affect. I get it, these wouldn't be for the hard core gun nut who has a safe full of hardware. But for the occasional shooter, people who don't own guns (or can't get a FID card), the video generation or corporate events, there could be some application. Heck, even for some of the fence sitting, gun grabbing Liberals, it might be a way to get them to experience the firearm industry without actually firing a real gun. What if Anthony had one of these? Could he have persuaded Weinberg to fire a few rounds after her interview, then go easy on us?
  18. Some good points, I would think there would be a lot lower operating costs. What's the liability insurance cost at a real range versus a place like this? No need for RO., a teenager can be hired to go over the basics with customers. Plus, the level of inspections and legal stuff for a range must be high. Plus, you can cycle more people per hour through a virtual range, so you won't need as many lanes. In a real range, how much time is spent actually shooting, versus re-setting targets, switching out firearms and reloading mags in an hour? I would guess maybe 20 minutes of every hour is actually shooting time, at best, but the lane is tied up for an hour. I'd like to see the cost structure of putting together a virtual range. It might be an investment I'd be interested in.
  19. I did some quick searching, seems like there are some systems that are pretty realistic. One place actually advertises they have a AR15 with actual recoil. https://www.firstshotdyer.com/pricing Plus, they offer some training classes that a normal range does, like NRA basic, CCW, etc.
  20. Actually, that's an interesting idea. Once Murphy gets done with us, the only firearms we'll be allowed to own are derringers and muzzle loaders, and real ranges will be a thing of the past. Maybe a virtual range could have a future?
  21. Can't argue with that logic. If it's 16 rounds or 30, it's not like you get additional months tacked onto the sentence for each round. After the first illegal round, all the others are FREE!
  22. Just like getting root canal... I agree, me too.. I compare it to going fishing in salt water, and after coming back in after the day, having to flush down and clean the entire boat. A necessary evil, but a pain in the ass.
  23. Success: Remington Outdoor Company Emerges From Bankruptcy Nearly two months after filing for bankruptcy protection, Remington Outdoor Company has reportedly significantly reduced its debt load and interest expense. An ROC press release outlining basic terms of the agreement was issued today: "Remington Outdoor Company (“Remington” or “the Company”), one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of firearms, ammunition, and related products, announced today that it has emerged from Chapter 11 after successfully implementing its plan of reorganization (“the Plan”) previously confirmed by the Delaware bankruptcy court on May 4, 2018. https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2018/5/17/success-remington-outdoor-company-emerges-from-bankruptcy/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=insider&utm_campaign=0518
