AntZ 1 Posted June 10, 2009 Any experience with it? I alreay heard a lot of "not real 1911", "SAO is not for packet" "ugliest Sig" and "9mm get better stopping power" kind of comments. I am looking for real range experience. Accuracy and reliability.
Circlesqr 1 Posted June 25, 2009 For a close-in defensive firearm? It's pretty good. It's lighter and easier to conceal than a Kahr K9 or a SIG P232SL. However between ammo prices & it's size, I don't see it visiting the indoor range for a 200 round workout anytime soon. Cheers! --Daniel
tbtrout 141 Posted June 25, 2009 It is based off of the Colt Mustang 380 wich was a good pistol. I have not handled the Sig yet.
rscalzo 3 Posted June 25, 2009 The 380 has found a new market and everyone is getting on board. The 380 is popular among the smaller shooters. During a decent NRA Basic Handgun for Women the 380 was the most popular during the center fine selection portion. It was right on when it was stated it is a copy of the Mustang. Updated manufacturing procedures and some changes but a copy nevertheless. They are in short supply as the company is at full capacity and beyond and in the middle of a move. Ray Ray 3,566 Posted June 28, 2009 Picked one up at Caso's last week and if you like little 380's with your finger hanging out in the wind then this is the one. Well, actually all these damn 380's feel the same to me. Ruger, Sig, Desert Eagle, Taurus, all the same.
