Long Gun Private Sale?

I might decide to sell a rifle I have. It's been a while since I've done so. Is it the same as selling a pistol now? Have to go through an FFL for the transfer?

Yup.

No purchase permit like a pistol, but you do need to go through the FFL...

Yes. Unless it's LEO to LEO or immediate family member.

yea.....'cause as per usual in nj, 2 sets of laws for 2 different sets of people.......

 

 hey!! guess what??!! i've just decided i identify as anyone who wants me's immediate family member. and everyone has to accept that. now we don't need an ffl.
