so I am always intrigued by good craftsmanship... and diy projects....

 

for a safe room... or if you have no kids in the house... would be nice to have a custom gun cabinet or rack... esp for someone who may have a case of mosinitis...

 

Here are the ones I found on the net so far... any other ideas? Anyone get an A in woodshop?

IMO, you need to lock'm up securely.

Nowadays, out-of-sight, out-of-mind.

No need to let anyone know what you have.

Obviously keep your handguns in the safe... but what if you have a safe room... why not keep it there? or in a limited access man-cave. :mrgreen:

I know it's a little smaller than what you are looking for, but I have built this http://wayneofthewoods.com/gunrack.html . I used red oak and it came out pretty handsome if I do say so myself
