Bore cleaner

Anyone ever use Iosso cleaning paste? Does it contain abrasive paste? Works great!

What are you cleaning that needs such an abrasive? The sound of it not running onto the stock seems like a good one.

 

Is it available locally, or do you need to order online?

I have probabally tried almost every kind of bore cleaner on the market and the best i found is a product called ballistol. If you see it, pick some up, and i promise you wont be looking back.

I think the Iosso is great too, but I'd like to know if it's abrasive before I use any more of it.

Better than Sweets? Maybe I'll give it a shot (no pun intended). What the h$ll is tombac?

Well i use it in conjunction with sweets. First I'll do the sweets routine then clean with this stuff. If you take a rifle that is clean with hoppes elite, m-pro-7, g96 you name it and then run some of this stuff down it your patches will come out cruddy black. I was amazed when a friend showed me what it did, that is when i became a believer.

They have it at the Firearms Guild in Rahway. Good product.
