Who uses a recoil pad when shooting? How much of a difference does it seem to make?

I have the slip-on style on both of my 12 gauge shotguns. Makes the guns much softer to shoot. I've done as many as 8 almost consecutive rounds of trap without even feeling it. No soreness, no aches, no bruises. Adds about 1" to the LOP, which is just fine for my disproportionately long arms.

 

I recommend them for everyone. About $20.00 at WalMart.

Limbsaver reduce recoil by a dramatic amount. They really do work well. Especially the limbsaver and the decelerator. Better than everything else on the market. They are on every bolt rifle and shotgun I own.

+1. Spent a long range session with my shotty on Saturday, first one with the limbsaver on and my shoulder didn't look like it got beat with a crowbar the next day for once.
