That's the sound of my forehead hitting my workbench after I bought a second set of rings for my 10/22 and they don't fit the Ruger rail. EPIC FAIL.

I've pretty much determined that the reason I couldn't zero my scope was the cheap first set of rings I bought, so I replaced them with a nice set of Burris 1" high rings for a Weaver rail. banghead.gif

I may be mistaken, but isn't there a rail that mounts to the Ruger rail that will then accept the Weaver mount rings?

Adios,

Rail acquired at Dick's for $5.99. Project complete - now to zero the scope.

Do you need help with that too so you do not get anymore brain damage? :D

If I show up with a large red circle around my eye... Then I need help. :o

If you get a large red circle around your eye, that is one hell of a 22.

Believe it or not, my 10/22 is the only lemon I have bought so far. Someone monkeyed with the trigger and it's just not 'right'.

I want to go back to the factory setup but Ruger doesn't sell the disconnector on their website. I'll probably just order the parts from Numrich and see if that straightens it out. And yes, I've been all over rimfire central... I have even debated dropping more than I paid for the gun on the Volquartsen complete trigger assembly just to straighten this out.
