$12 a box seems like a decent price.

 

Instead of using GB, I just called the store and asked if I could buy it direct from them store at the GB price. The answer was yes so a short trip across the river later I've got some decent .308 for plinking.

 

Tanners sport center is a nicely stocked store with competant and friendly staff.

 

FYI I'm not on their payroll or related, just a happy customer.

So $12.72 a box roughly.

 

The next least expensive reputable place I found it is Cheaper than dirt has it for 15.12 + shipping for the federal.

 

Tanners also had the Fed 168 grain Sierra Match King BTHP Gold Medal stuff for $22 a box. Cheaper lists it at 24.49 + shipping.

 

I bought the last of that, but they said they expected another delivery Friday weather permitting.
