For anybody else snowed in, the history channel is showing the history of the Luger. Yum! Would love to have one of these!

This guy (misssed his name) has 500 Lugers in his collection and another 1,100 he uses for bartering. He estimates there are over 100,00 Luger collectors in the US. He has one that is worth over $500,000. Gold plated, baby Lugers, and some with US with the Eagle stamped . One of the .45 Lugers (#2) is worth $1,000,000. They are saying that Michale Krause is bringing the .45 Luger back into manufacuring 1,187 machinings to make the original Luger. He wants just make just 100 a year at $15,000 per.

I saw that one this morning. very cool show. It was funny when they said that they were afraid to shoot the million $ Luger. Couldnt blame them. Heck, i would be afraid to even look at it.

My Uncle was a WW2 vet and brought one back.

I remember seeing it when i was a kid.

I always wanted one.
