Federal .22LR at Walmart...where?

Recommended Posts

Cabelas had a bulk pack deal.

Yep, bought 2 of the $85 deal....back ordered until end of March.

check effingers in bound brook, they usually had a bunch.

Ok

lastly, dont be afraid to get CCI mini mags.... great ammo and fairly readily avail.

Jam-o-rama on the mini-mags 40 grain. Actually it's not really a jam, the bolt fails to close (1/4" gap) some times. I'm working on different solutions here, but I want to have the ammo they recommend on hand when I troubleshoot the next time.

try cleaning it?

Brand new, I did try a light coat of oil on the rails before I went to the range. The kit came with another spring (a tad longer) so I swapped them out. Haven't had a chance to go back to the range, but next time I want to max. my troubleshooting time.

usually cci mini mags are the cleanest, best non match ammo.

did you try the federal?

:( I have no federal, went to Dick's in Woodbridge and the gun shop in Rahway

Where are you located? I have a couple of bricks I may be able to let go of. =)

As long as they are not lead tips.

PM me I'm off exit 13, that would be great!!!!! (I just missed you last week, I think Vinny said you picked up a gun)

Ok, long story short, I have a Spikes .22 conversion kit for my SW MP15 and it seems the recommended ammo is the Federal .22LR bulk ammo. Anyone know of a Walmart over the border that usually stocks this stuff? (I need about 2 - 500 rd boxes)

East Stroudsberg PA Walmart $19 for 525 bulk pack
