So, when we're selling a Long Gun out of State, as a selling resident of NJ, and a purchasing resident of Alabama, it goes FFL to FFL right?

The person you're shipping to needs to make sure that their FFL is willing to receive a transfer from a non-FFL. Not all do. You will most likely be required to fax the FFL a copy of your DL and he will of course have to fax a copy of his FFL to you before you ship it.

I often just include a copy of my NJ Driver's License and NJ Firearms ID in the gun being shipped.
