crazyboy 13 Posted July 20, 2010 I believe fort dix is open until 8pm on wensdays and fridays. My question however is, is the range well lit? More importantly does it get very crowded at that time, I wouldn't be getting there until 530 about and thinking I could shoot for a couple hours. sirsloop 1 Posted July 20, 2010 Its actually quite nice in the evenings. The sun is at your back, low in the sky... really makes the targets stand out.
Maksim 1,504 Posted July 20, 2010 When Chad and I were crazy to shoot in the winter.... the lights were pretty nice to have after 6pm. In the center, you can see the targets easily up to about 125 to 150 yards. The 200 yard line was tougher. If you were shooting in the lanes to the right, there are no light towers there and it was difficult. I have not shot in the evening in the summer so cant help there, but I am assuming should be good to go.
sirsloop 1 Posted July 20, 2010 You just need to bring a spotlight... or a P71 crown vic and use the spot on that! HAHAH!
