Long barrel handgun that shoots a rifle cartridge vs. SBR

Recommended Posts

When I was on a project in MN, I shot a friend's single shot break-open handgun that shot a rifle cartridge (in his backyard; yeah, 90 acres worth! ). I think it was a 270 and it had a 12+" barrel

There is always the issue with an SBR. If the handgun is registered as such, then what is an SBR?

Bottom line, would such a handgun be legal in NJ? No, I don't want to put a rifle butt-stock on it :shifty:

If such a handgun is legal in NJ, what brands you have experience with?

Basically, a pistol with a shoulder stock.

Yes, with out a stock and not a semi-auto.

None. IMO, accuracy is a problem unless you benchrest.
