making french vanilla ice cream

using the kitchen aid to make ice cream, two day process, you have to freeze the ice cream bowl 24 hours in advance and also chil the mixture 24 hours in advance..

 

half and half

whipping cream

vanilla

salt

egg yolks (8) :blush:

Lynn makes fresh sorbet in ours. She doesn't tolerate ice cream too well, but the fresh fruit sorbet is far and away better than any store bought crap, and the flavor combinations are endless.
