Cheap magnifiers

anyone have any experience with the cheap magnifiers? I see them online for as low as $50 are they good quality? do they actually work? etc.

No experience specifically with them, but my overall experience with optics is that you get what you pay for. I would put $50 magnifiers in the disposable category. Not being a snob, just realistic. Buy quality and only cry once.
