Beretta Px4 Storm in 40SW

This is wierd. Any info out there?

Bought a new Px4 and installed large backstrap. Two mags (dark red/brown color) worked fine with all backstraps.

 

Ordered two more mags thru special promo. They came in (color black) and will not eject. With medium backstrap only one will eject; with small backstrap both will eject.

 

Yes I called Beretta and they are working on it. But sometimes the Folks know better.

Mine works with all my magazines with the large backs trap installed. Is your retaining clip for the back strap in in the right direction/ all the way in. I know it sounds simple but it may solve your problem.

That's the issue, it has to be in the right direction and installed all the way up into the grip.

I am with you all and appreciate the help. However once the large backstrap is in, it will eject two mags and NOT eject two others. I'll let you know what the factory says.

Are they all OEM factory mags? I don't recall any of my mags being a different color.

Just an update. Factory switched my plates/springs into new housings and all was fine. My metal with new plate/spring was NFG. They say they are still fiding the exact reason for all this!!

 

Anyway I also carefully re installed the large backstrap and all 4 mags are now fine.

 

So my son buys a Cx4 and has a sticky mag!! Oh well.
