I'm not sure how I feel about a safe that relies on batteries. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there is a backup.....but still.

It's an OK deal there are several offerings in this price range that are all basically the same.

As a matter of fact I would not be surprised if they all were made by the same manufacturer with different company names applied.These will stop a child but are no match for a pro.

BJ's wholesale had a Bighorn classic safe on sale for $399 as well.They are more like heavy lockers then safes.

Here is the one I'm looking over at the moment.Twice the price but I feel it's reasonable for how it's built and the fact it will be around for years to come.

Yeah, I bet they do what they do with mattresses - make a different "model" variant for every retailer so that it becomes hard to do direct price comparisons.

I believe it comes with a set of keys as well. The other sentry models, which are similar, come with keys.

Check this one out at Dick's. It's a 32 gun safe. I was told it should go on sale in a week or so for $699.
