Fluke season starts Saturday.

 

If you have a salt water license from another state, you still have to get the free NJ one. Same with the 2011 NOAA. NJDEP authorized hefty fines for non compliance.

The only way to get it is online. The NJ version goes way beyond the NOAA one. In NJ everyone over age 16 who fishes salt, unless exclusively from a party or charter boat, must have this card regardless of species sought. Only thing: it is only a print out on computer paper. What if someone asks to see it and it is a wet, runny unreadable mess?

Put it in a zip-lock bag to protect it, I do this with directions when I am on the bike and have been poured on and it has stayed dry.
