Completed NRA Basic Pistol course today...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Today, I completed my NRA Basic Pistol course at Citizens Rifle and Revolver Club in West Windsor.. The class was informative, lacking in some areas I thought, strong in others.

The shooting portion was, of course, fun. We all qualified with .22 caliber, than went on to shoot all the other calibers, .38,.38 single action cowboy, 9mm, 10mm and .45 My aim was

pretty good for a first timer and now im looking forward to joining a club. I used my new S&W .22LR Model 617 4" barrel revolver.

Although I have not completed ruled out CRRC, I probably will not be joined this club. I was not particularly impressed with the facilities. So I am looking at Langhorne Gun Club(may be

a long wait) or Central Jersey in Jackson, but this club may not be within my budget. Maybe I will give Fort Dix Range 14 a try too.
