zoid 24 Posted November 26, 2011 Do you guys have a load for static steel and a different one for USPSA and perhaps a different one for bullseye? Or do you just have one load you use for everything? I was thinking of doing an ultra light load for static steel, and one that's stronger for USPSA where you have to make power factor. Only thing I can see bad about this though is that your training would be inconsistent shooting multiple loads. Anyone do this?
Maksim 1,504 Posted November 27, 2011 9mm the load is all the same. 40 Cal, I now use a USPSA major load, and a Steel/Minor load.
hd2000fxdl 422 Posted November 27, 2011 What Maks said, after I get my new gun I plan on switching to 9mm for Steel and IPSC Production division in December. and I'll keep my .40 for USPSA Limited and L/10. This is all pending on how much I like shooting the CZ 85B Combat, so for now I'll be keeping Minor and Major .40, maybe knockdown steel will be .40 and static 9mm. tbtrout 141 Posted November 27, 2011 yes, but not for competing. I can give you a 45 load you would swear is a 22 magnum in a 1911. It is all part of the fun of reloading.
Babaganoosh 192 Posted November 27, 2011 My 9mm is all the same. I'm going to be getting a 40 over the winter. I'll be loading minor and major loads for it.
tony357 386 Posted November 27, 2011 I only have one for the 9mm right now but will be loading another one only due to bullet weight being diffrent both loads will be uspsa minor.
