Bully 749 Posted December 30, 2011 Anyone know when it's set to see the street? I've done a little research, but I can't seem to find anything on it. Anyone held or shot it? C
tommy3rd 132 Posted December 30, 2011 probably soon, since Sig and all the other gunwebsites already have an item number (1911-9-sme or 1911t9sme) for it.
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted December 30, 2011 Sometime during Q1. Of course we've been lied to before. I've been waiting a year for this to hit.
zoid 24 Posted December 30, 2011 I would be all over this like white on rice. Huge Sig fan, huge 1911 fan, huge 9mm fan. Keep me posted!
zoid 24 Posted December 30, 2011 Is this for preorder or something? http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/74329
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted December 30, 2011 Once Bud's has a model number and an Cost/MSRP on a gun they intend to sell, it goes up on their website with an "Out of Stock" flag. The model number and pricing for this was availble almost a year ago, and Sig put it up on their website about two months ago. Sigs lies are sounding more sincere and when they finally converge with the truth, dealers may actually have some to sell. Adios, PIzza Bob
SW9racer 262 Posted December 30, 2011 Can these 9mm-1911s run the same 22lr conversion kits as the 45?
tony357 386 Posted December 30, 2011 Is this for preorder or something? http://www.budsgunsh...oducts_id/74329 I think they have the weight wrong..41.6 ounces?
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted December 30, 2011 I think they have the weight wrong..41.6 ounces? It is an all-steel gun. The weight posted (from the website) seems reasonable - maybe a tad heavy, but it is with a mag and that rear sight doesn't look light. What does your Kimber weigh, with a mag? Dan 177 Posted December 30, 2011 I'm in a race with Bob to get the first one in NJ. I'm betting on Tony at TJ's albino elephant (aka Sig 1911 9mm) hunting skills!

Ronald Silver 2 Posted January 9, 2012 Anyone know when it's set to see the street? I've done a little research, but I can't seem to find anything on it. Anyone held or shot it? C I can't see why someone would want one. Probably has less ammo capacity than regular doublestacks...

Bully 749 Posted January 12, 2012 I have one more permit in hand. I was hoping that I would like this gun (aesthetically) but it's too similar to my current gun for me to really be interested in. I think I will be sticking to plan and ordering a kit and building one myself. Thanks for posting the pics. C
tony357 386 Posted January 12, 2012 hope they release a **** ton of finished like they do with most thier guns.. tired of stainless 9mm 1911's Stainless is much easier to care for possibly why so many out their..
