JTQ911 2 Posted January 28, 2012 I recently got a Streamlight TLR 1s from midwayusa.com Before this my bedside gun was a Sig 220 rail with a cheap 150 lumen flashlight next to my eyeglasses. If someone broke in, I'd have to find my glasses, unlock bedside pistol safe, and find flashlight. I finally admitted to myself 100 bucks was not worth this amount of time if SHTF. I put the TLR 1s on the Sig as soon as it came.... WHY did I wait so long? If you're hesitating about spending the money for a weapon mounted light, just do it. There is no comparison. Two hands on the gun....No fumbling with handheld flashlight techniques. I can't believe it took me this long, but thats what being a cheap bastard will do to you.
