remo 0 Posted February 29, 2012 Do you think it's legal n NJ? Let's say I want to use this as a first shell (non lethal) in HD shotgun. Well , birdshot can be used too I guess, but still, just curious.......... This is a link for this pricey item ($25 for 5) http://www.deltaforc...ds-per-box.html
RubberBullets 65 Posted February 29, 2012 That's interesting... Less than lethal beats explaining to the cops the perp with the hole in his chest, but again, this is NJ so anything is possible and they'll try to EFFF you any chance they get.
djg0770 481 Posted February 29, 2012 guess you want to deal with a civil suit across the room from a living perpetrator?

If you're going to pick up a gun and point it at someone, you better be damn well ready to use it and understand that you have a very high chance of killing someone. If you're looking for "non-lethal" use something other than firearm.
stein 1 Posted February 29, 2012 Its legal ammo but, If you are firing a gun at someone with any kind of projectile you are using deadly force, and if justified, why would you want to use a non-lethal round? I also wouldn't consider bird shot non-lethal at "in your home distances".
vjf915 456 Posted February 29, 2012 Why use it? Non-lethal rounds like this can STILL only be used in a deadly force situation. You're taking the chance of not being effective enough to stop the threat, while still limiting yourself to using the tool when your safety is being threatened. Live ammunition for home defense, no exceptions.
