MedicYeti 96 Posted March 13, 2012 Quinton Sportsmans Club in Salem County is having one. Also a hike from Lakewood but it's a good time.

Yes, there is an IDPA match on the SCFGPA calendar. AFAIK, it's a requirement to attend the practice ahead of the match if you're an IDPA noob.

keithco88 3 Posted March 13, 2012 I confirmed with Tom Richards @ SCFGPA that non-club members do not need to attend the mid-week practice. They just need to be there for the safety briefing before the start of the match. I'll be shooting my first IDPA match this weekend. This thread (i started in the wrong place) has some people who will be joining http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/33197-march-18th-idpa-scfgpa/page__pid__442302 You should register online in advance at somersetidpa.com

QuePsiPhiSmkr 14 Posted March 13, 2012 Can you still go if you are not registered? It will be my first match
Krdshrk 3,878 Posted March 14, 2012 No - It pretty much means they're full up and can't take any more shooters.
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted March 14, 2012 Can you still go if you are not registered? It will be my first match You can go and spectate and if there are any no-shows of the registered shooters you may get the opportunity to shoot. They usually have no trouble filling the field though, so I wouldn't be optimistic about your chances.
