Yotafan 1 Posted April 25, 2012 http://www.state.nj.us/njsp/info/pdf/firearms/sp-634.pdf I am selling a stripped lower to my buddy. Is the above form the one that needs to get field out? Also does a copy go to the police dept or is that only for a pistol? Thanks Ed

Krdshrk 3,878 Posted April 25, 2012 Yes - that's the form. No, nothing needs to get sent to the NJSP.

Old School 611 Posted April 25, 2012 Here's what I do.... Proper fill out two COEs (one for buyer, one for seller) as required. Take the seller's COE and attach it to the COE you recieved when you bought the item. Keep the paperwork. So when a bodega is robbed with the reciever you previously owned you have proof that you diposed of it to an eligible person.
9supratt4 0 Posted June 26, 2012 So does a COE need to be filled out for all rifles and shotguns transferred person to person?
