Gunsmith that can do AR trigger jobs

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm looking for a gunsmith in upper NJ who is good at AR-15 trigger jobs.

The main one I want done is my 2 stage version. Since this is my bench rifle, I need it cleaned up a bit and brought down from 5lbs to a nice crisp 3 lbs,

I have two more AR's I may have done also.

Tx

Since this is a bench rifle, I would go for the Geissele SSA-E, over the SSA... THe SSA-E gives you a total 3.5 lb trigger pull (2.3 lb on the 1st stage, and 1.2 lb on the 2nd) and is recommended for precision shooting. While still a great trigger, the SSA is more of a combat trigger with an approximate 4.5 lb trigger pull.

Good call, I completely missed that it was for a bench rifle. In that case I vote for the SSA-E (or the SD-E if you like flat triggers.)

Heres the summary of all the Geisssele triggers http://geissele.com/pdfs/TriggerSummarySheet.pdf
