M&P first trip to the range today. +1 RTSP

Recommended Posts

Took my pistol to e range today. I took my daughters boyfriend it was his first time shooting anything other than an airsoft gun. We left with him saying I need to get my paperwork in. Let me say we had a great time. RTSP is great place to shoot. The people are very friendly and the RO was very help full as well. I just wish it was a little bigger. Next time I will get more targets. On to my m&p. We fed 200 rounds through it without a problem. I really like this pistol. I enjoyed shooting my own gun for the first time it was very satisfying. I shot some nice groups when I took my time. I'm sure we will be going back soon. Big thanks to clintoon Eastwood on the upula mag loader. What a great tool to have. Made loading a breeze.

IMHO, the M&P9 is the finest striker fired polymer handgun on the planet. You made a good purchase. If you still have the 10 round magazines, call Smith and Wesson and ask for part number 39498 this is their NJ compliant 15 round magazine.

Thank you I a happy to be part of the community. I have to say I was worried at first about the 5 inch being too heavy. But after shooting it I think it has very nice balance and great feel. I am very happy for my purchase. Thank you to Chris at bullseye tactical.

I agree with your opinion on the M&P but, I believe the OP has the .40 Pro. (signature)

Ive decided I will take ^ this approach for new boyfriends for my daughters instead of the ol' "cleaning your guns" bit. Not only showing him that I havem, but I can group respectably on a distant target as well. :)

My bad, I assumed that he had a 9mm. I very rarely meet people at the range who have .40 caliber pistols unless they are LE's.

.40's keep falling onto my lap. Most common caliber I own.
