Question bout 30 days pistol

I just purchased a pistol about 2 weeks ago.

 

There is a forum member selling a pistol I am interested in. How does this 30 day effect me?

 

I have a p2p and I don't know if I have to wait or I can go purchase this pistol because there is no background check call. Can any one enlighten me please?

You can make a deal with him, and put a deposit or pay for it, but the actual transfer can't happen until the 31st day.

 

The state and local pd get copies of the completed pistol permit, so your not going to get around it.

 

The only exception is if you have an exemption for multiple handgun purchases, but that would likely take more than 2 weeks and could possibly be not worth the trouble if your only buying 1 additional gun.

You still have to wait, even though there is no background check call. The "1 handgun in a 30 day period" statute applies to both transfers through FFL dealers and for transfers with individuals.
