I have an original. The curvaceous babe (Sally?) was a regular in PM Magazine which was a monthly publication. It gave you maintenance tips on how to keep everything from your immersion heaters to your OH6 helicopter running smoothly. The magazine, and Sally, were invented by Will Eisner a retired Warrant Officer who worked at Raritan Arsenal. The concept was to keep soldiers aware of maintenance issues for all kinds of equipment in an entertaining format. It worked.

 

Eisner also wrote a book on US small arms and weapons systems in the late 50s, early 60s. The M14 was the newest small arm in the book. I have a copy of the book he autographed for my uncle who used to work with him.
